I don't see LSU's defense or special teams being any better than last year's team. Hard to replace Peterson and Jasper.
Those are both very pessimistic attitudes to take, which is understandable since you don't like LSU.
I'm not saying I think we're going to have a top 10 offense overnight but the talent is there, Krag just needs to develop a QB. Changing schemes isn't that huge of a deal, we won the NC last time we switched coordinators.
As for Defense and Special Teams, sure you don't really replace those guys but you're not looking at who we have coming back (8 starters on Defense). Eric Reid and T-Rex had outstanding seasons in our defensive backfield as True Freshman. Sam Mongtomery was a monster on the DLine before he got hurt and will step in for Nevis and anyone who knows John Chavis knows he will have good linebackers. There is no reason at all to think our defense will be much if any worse than it was last year.
We've been recruiting really well. Talentwise the 2011 team will be our best since 2007.

FWIW I think KD is a BA but I think his impressive stats can be attributed to his running style being a perfect fit for Petrino's system
