Les has been there before. How many has Arkansas played for?

He got there with a 10 win regular season in a weaker SEC West. Things are a LITTLE different these days.

You really think LSU has a realistic shot at winning at least 11 games given your schedule? I think 10 wins with your schedule would be a GREAT year, and the best Miles could pray for.

All of the distractions from the grand ole state of Alabama will affect the Auburn and Crimson Tide teams this year.

I saw we at best get a sugar bowl and aubs won't even make it to one.

Les has the momentum on his side, great talent and experienced QB play.

Can someone please translate this into English for me so I can attempt make a smartarse reply.

the flagship went to the first BCS Bowl that any SEC team has ever been to last season. They are the favorites for everything, including NFL expansion. Petrino's tanning bad raccoon eyes can see into the future and know what it will take.

I was going to wait for the perfect time for my first post, but seeing that you are trying to take worst poster of the day award on a very crowded day to do so, I figured I would step in...

To answer your post, that is the best YOU and YOUR brethren can pray for. At our fine institution it is National Championship or BUST every single year. We are not happy to make it to a BCS bowl and lay down to an inferior opponent. Also, you can knock Les Miles all you want, he is a Hell of coach, even more a class act and would never quit on his team in the middle of a season cause the going got tough. Also GFY!

Petrino's 2-1 verse Miles.

Our backup QB, in 2.5 quarters, threw for as many TD's as your starting QB threw during the entire 12 game season.

Ryan Mallett, our 6'7", slow as molasses QB, ran for as many TD's as your starting QB threw for.

Miles barely pulled out wins at home last season against Tennesee and Ole Miss. LSU won 4 games by a TD or less, 3 games by 4 points or less.

LSU loses its best player at each level of their defense, their super reliable field goal kicker, their starting RB, and their kick/punt returner who was one of the best I've ever seen.

Miles is the 3rd best coach in the West, AT BEST.

So tell me, why again, is LSU going to be going anywhere this season besides back to the Cotton Bowl?

A national championship is a national championship piggie. LSU was the best team that year and deserved it. Besides how many national championships has Arky played for the last 40 years?

Did I say differently? Why do you feel so insecure about it?

LSU unlike Arky pulls in top 10 recruiting classes every year. We reload every year and will be much better on offense next year and will improve on defense.

Phil Fulmer and Steve Spurrier won a national championship at one point too, doesn't mean I'd take them over Petrino.

Les has won one, Petrino hasn't. Still wouldn't take Les over Petrino.

Think about what you said five years from now and Arky still doesn't have a NC
