He coordinated the 39th ranked overall offense this past season. That's better than:

Texas A&M - 49th
Alabama - 51st
Tennessee - 52nd
Georgia - 83rd
Kentucky - 89th
Auburn - 94th
USCw - 99th
Florida - 111th
Vanderbilt - 116th
Missouri - 124th

Not according to this.

Alabama 35th

L5U 58th in total offense. (Snicker)

That's total yards. Going by yards per game, we were 39th. We missed the Mcneese St game.

A cam offense is better than a Steele defense

I don't mind. We just need to get a QB that isn't a true sophomore and the offense should be fine.

I'd say points per game would be most important. Kinda the object of playing offense. LSU is 6th in the SEC, so middle of the road.

I agree. Scoring offense and defense are the most important stat.

That's not going to stop me laughing at the cheese dick using total yards rather than yards per game, however.

Dude why are you excited about this crap?? Cam is not a very good OC. Him and Miles are buddies and all they know are toss dives, and deep passes.

Having a QB playing without a sports hernia would be a big help as well.

but seriously, what was the difference in stud's offense or crowton's, as long as miles refuses to stop meddling, then it really doesn't matter a whole lot who the OC is

I like how LSU fans are trying to talk themselves into believing this is a good idea

No I'm a realist bro. we have a garbage offense for all the talent at our disposal!! Nothing wrong with power football like Stanford, Bama, or Michigan run. LSU does nothing , but Power run out of 2 formations and throws deep a few times. Problem is we don't have an intermediate passing scheme with crossing routes, TE drags, RB wheels routes, or running power out of multiple formations. So frustrating to be an LSU fan who actually understands the game.

LSU has had 4 different OCs under Les, and the offense has looked basically the same under all of them. The one common denominator is Les Miles

Not under Jimbo , but after Crowton's first year yep!

I'm sure the SEC is happy about this.

He's pretty mediocre.

Yeah the jokes on me. Kiffin has helped get us into the playoffs two straight years with Blake Sims and J Coker as his QBs.

I looked up total offense. You are right though. That is the wrong metric since LSU didn't play the one defense worse than Texas Tech and Eastern Michigan on your schedule.

Do you really not understand why using total yards in this case is really, really stupid?
