I hope so too. Having Cam on the sidelines will be great next year.

LSU fans love him after they destroyed one of the worst defenses in college football.

He coordinated the 39th ranked overall offense this past season. That's better than:

Texas A&M - 49th
Alabama - 51st
Tennessee - 52nd
Georgia - 83rd
Kentucky - 89th
Auburn - 94th
USCw - 99th
Florida - 111th
Vanderbilt - 116th
Missouri - 124th

The only SEC schools with a higher ranked offense were: Ole Miss(10th), Arkansas (29th) and Mississippi St (31st)

So yea, extension warranted...despite the uninformed narrative

Since his current contract has 2 months remaining it kind of has to be "extended" if he is staying on staff

Les wants a pro style offense but doesnt have a pro style QB

Square peg... Either change the recruiting or change the O

Not according to this.

Alabama 35th

L5U 58th in total offense. (Snicker)

L5U giving Cam an extension for being 58th in total offense

I like how LSU fans are trying to talk themselves into believing this is a good idea

If they are simply renewing his contract and not giving him a raise, I don't see what the big deal is. Cam isn't the problem, Les Miles is. LSU has had 4 different OCs under Les, and the offense has looked basically the same under all of them. The one common denominator is Les Miles
