What makes saban a better recruiter than miles? Getting nothing but 4 and 5 star players?
i think you just answered your own question.
quote:
as opposed to miles having about 3 or 4 guys on each side of the ball year in and year out who were barely recruited playing at a championship level
first, name the 3-4 guys on LSU who were barely recruited. second, saban doesnt rely on recruiting sites' star rankings. he gets guys who are big and fast. coincidently, HS players who are big and fast usually have high star rankings. are you gonna discredit the man because he gets the players that appear to have the highest potential?

LSU has owned the gumps since 2000. we lost the ncg. it happens. you wont win them all. its funny how the gumps think that saban is sooo much better of a recruiter. why because the idiot who said that bases that on stars.. where did mo go in the draft? if sabans recruiting is so much better then why hasnt bama dominated lsu?

That's true.
A smack down in baton rouge awaits Bama.
What's going to be especially satisfying is that there isn't (or ever is) a Bama fan who thinks they 'might' lose.
Yes, the January loss hurt, though for us it's a set back
For Bama, every loss to LSU is a program defining disaster.

More to CLM than LSU...maybe in an indirect way I suppose...plus it's probably more than half...but remember blogosphere is pretty skewed.

Mulligans don't count. Arky fans are banned until they win a championship in this century

So we should chalk LSU up as another team that cares more about beating Alabama than winning championships?
Not me. By and large LSU has been the team to beat in the West over past decade, should consider itself so and just be concerned with who's next.

Thought you guys were better than that.
That's the goal...if TR is an indicator it doesn't bode well...but I'm banking that it's a loud few.

True, this was the great unfairness that bothered me most. I pretty much got over over it in a couple of days and was kind of 'meh' about bowl game. Probably why I never got into the 'ButtHurt' thing. But HomerNation can never acknowledge a season of accomplishment, of earning an invite as opposed to 'next best option'...wasted words on target audience but kudos to you for remembering.

Lsu will never.... ever.... win a game against Bama that will be as big as the win Bama had over Lsu in the NC was.
You know this how? Just cuz?

The heck with it, you're an Alabama fan, you can't be convinced that anyone else is any good.
There's quite a few UA fans that think things through. But there is a segment that hold that the other team has never won...Bama lost because (fill-in-the-blank). There's no cure for this.

True, the gap between the Bear and Chollie Mac will never be covered (at least in my lifetime). Since Coach Bryants' retirement I think the clubs are right at .500 with each other.

Not to get into a pissing contest, but let me add some things..
1) LSU had, and will have, a great team.
2) LSU is a top team in CFB.
3) LSU was having the "Dream Season" in '11.
4) LSU got de-fricking-stroyed in the BCSNCG.
5) LSU had a former coach who was on the sidelines in the BCSNCG.
6) LSU fans will tote the pain of that loss no matter what happens unless that is an asskicking of UA in the BCSNCG.
7) LSU fans know that the odds of that are very, very low.
8) UA fans know all the aformentioned, and it brings a smile to their face.
Goodnight, God bless, and don't forget to tip your waiter.
