What I did learn was that team that has been wringing it's hands for 3 months, will likely have the mental edge in a rematch..that proved to be the difference.

Wrong. You're forgetting Saban deciplines his players better than anyone. Of course THEY were mentally prepared for the second battle, but that doesn't mean LSU's pot smoking thugs will be.
