Is this really a big deal? No one at LSU cares about another teams band.

I, for one, applaud this decisions by LSU. It's very crowded for the band to head down to the field at the same time the fans are leaving the stadium. Way to be proactive

That's actually really unfortunate.

Oh my god. This will forever be one of the worst things about our season until this horrible fad is ended. Nobody else wants it. I feel like we're being held hostage.

No problem, don't alow the LSU band in any sec stadium not their own.
And cut the allotment for tickets which LSU recives by that much.

You haven't been to many Bama games then, because it seems like they always play half.

But anyhow, sucks for you guys. I hope to continue seeing other bands at BDS.

i believe the last band to perform was Alabama in 2014. We really started not letting bands perform last year but I guess this makes it official. LSU is trying to go more for concert halftime shows anyways which is retarded but whatever. 3 doors down performed last year and I'm sure they'll try to get someone else this year.

They are just trying to prevent Bama from bringing 400+ to play Rammer Jammer after the game.

LSU only sends the full band to one away game each season. That won't change.

This is pretty retarded. It's been going on for how many years and how many people have been hurt? Using safety to justify this is pretty weak sauce

I, for one, enjoy watching the bands play at the half.

In that case, the rest of the SEC should not allow LSU's band to attend.

Each school is allotted a block of tickets and it is up to the individual school to decide what to do with those tickets.

What every other SEC school *should* do is to make it mandatory to give the LSU Marching Band equal treatment. If LSU wants to send their band hundreds of miles to sit in the stands, that's their own business. But they should never again see an opposing SEC field (unless, of course, someone with some actual common sense down there steps in and starts making decisions again).
