I can't remember when another team's band played in Tiger Stadium during halftime.
It's a finite time and trying to get two entire bands on and off the field during half.

Marching bands are part of college. LSU missed the point big time.

First of all that picture is from 2007.

It's so dumb. The safety excuse is total bs They're probably just trying to stick it to Alabama who always brings their big loud band.

Precish. Now that that's taken care of, what's second of all?

Any school can bring their band, of any size, to a TS game. That band just cannot perform at halftime. That already happened in 2015.
LSU's full band might go to one away game every year. But we bring a pep band to each game, a pep band that does not march.

That's fine. We'll late until late October this fall and tell you to cancel your band travel reservations.
Same as you did to us. Screw the fans.

frick it. It's OUR stadium. Our band will more than pick up the slack. We aren't getting rid of all band presence. We're just limiting opponent. I have no problem with this. In fact I enjoy that the side effect of this will be that only small pep bands will be there to play during the actual game. I got so sick of watching auburn and Alabamas band just start playing whenever LSU would play. I also don't care that these other schools could blackball LSU at away games. Why do you care that LSU plays on your home field? Focus on your own band when you're at you're own stadium.

LSU isn't preventing your full band from attending the game; they just can't perform on the field.

If the Aggie Band doesn't march halftime they don't travel, period.

LSU only sends the full band to one away game each season. That won't change.

STFU damn moronic Ags. You idiots force us to play a football game on Thanksgiving Night every other year at your place and we do not bring our band there anyway.
