Gotta say, it is a pretty cool sight. I really love the powder blue helmets.

Other good options - I do love the color vs color with UF/UGA now.

Georgia/Auburn in deep fall weather is certainly another.

From what I have heard, not anymore due to our cheap arse administration. We painted over the powder blue helmets for the kickoff game against Texas Tech and they are gone for the year.

I always thought the powder blue sucked. Like the dark blue better

Does Ole Miss have powder blue jerseys? Those would be awesome.

Literally the first time that I've heard that and honestly I seriously doubt that this is true.

not sure if we're still doing that. It happened from '14-'16 but last year kirby said frick that and we wore our normal road whites against their home blues.

We are the home team this year so will obviously wear red, but I have no clue what color florida will wear.

Saban did the same with Tennessee. It's understandable. One mistake due to confusion with uniforms blending could lose you a game, and Red/Blue and Crimson/Orange could do that in a split second.

Cool to see though.

uhhh wut? We didn't lose those games because of uniform confusion, we just sucked. I think kirby wanted to flip the mojo a little, had nothing to do with any kind of confusion. I really loved the idea and still think it's cool, but I was pretty tired of it after seeing us go 0-3 in it.

I have nothing but my own thoughts to base this on, but I think that perhaps that's why Coach Vaught stuck with the powder blue helmets at Ole Miss. They were originally a mistake in the order, but no one else that Ole Miss played at the time was likely to have a helmet that color. Cuts down on possible confusion.
