Not bad. They held Lattimore and Crowell in check pretty well. I just figured size and depth would be an issue for them against a physical Oline and RB like 'Bama has.

Yeah we do that too, but we do it averaging like 3 more yards per carry. Not bragging, just happened to look at LSU rb's ypc and wasn't very impressed.

You run a different offense. I hate the way we run the ball, but what can you do? I think I hate the toss play for 2< yards more than the short side option.

Bama's 7+ YPC is especially impressive given McElwain's unimaginative playcalling. LSU appears to me bludgeon their opponents, running to move the chains, control the clock, rest their defense and set up their play action passing game. Alabama appears to be much more reliant on their running game to score. LSU has a better balance of passing (11) touchdowns to rushing touchdowns (16) as compared to Bama (9) passing vs (23) rushing. The only way I see Bama winning this game is if they have success running right at LSU, between the tackles. LSU is too fast to run wide on and their LBs are relatively small. If Bama can't overpower them, I think LSU wins. LSU has too many other advantages, better receivers, more experienced QBs, far superior punting and kicking game, not to mention the HONEY BADGER (he takes what he wants). LSU wins unless Bama can make their arse quit. A'ight.

It's actually middle of the pack in FBS this year. Not very impressive.

You forgot to consider weaker opponents and running Richardson in the 4th Qt. during blowouts. Those Heisman yards add up.
