pbroh62, exactly. The OP is a dipshit. It is one thing to knock your own program on one of its websites. That is what discussions entail, hopefully rational, intelligent ones. But to take your shite to a site for all the other teams to see, they more than likely taking you as being representative of our entire fan base, which you are not, what is the point? Curious as to how many games the OP has seen into the 4th quarter live in T.S. Pretty safe bet he bails at half time to go have more fun drinking in the parking lot.

I've always thought O was a terrible hire since news of the press conference early Saturday morning.

Just because he panders to douche bags like you doesn't make him reasonable.

We can already read the negativity on tRant. Fiddle's post over here showed me that there may be some degree of sanity over there.

It's gonna be tough for LSU the next few years. Don't see any way around it. O has done well in two iterim stints but that's turn key. You don't recruit, organize, plan offseason, do all the public function things, hobknob with boosters. You have to have a plan and require your assistants to execute your plan.
If you are counting on your assistants to basically coach the team, you are gonna suffer.
We had that situation with Bryant starting in about 1980. The assistants took over. Bobby Bowden did that at the tail end of his career.
Both programs fell pretty hard.

From what I've read here most figure if O has great assistants he'll be fine.
No he won't. Ego's get involved. The coach loses respect from his assistants, players lose respect, boosters wonder why they are paying you if the assistants are running stuff (see Johnny Majors).

O as to be THE man and dictate what he wants done and have the assistants carry out his plan. Not come in everyday and let assistants decide what they will do. That gets you 3 wins.

Fiddle is a whiny little bitch and in no way represents the LSU fan base. Because he posts negativity towards LSU, the coach, or the fans gives him some degree of sanity in your mind? Gtfo with that dumb shite. When something is broken or not right in my life I don't run out and cry to the world and seek comfort in their arms. I handle it in house with my family. That's what real men do.

No need to. If I want to read up about LSU, I just need to find you. Your posting history confirms your obsession. You post about LSU far more than your own team.

If you post anything negative on the tiger rant there is no discussion it's automatically "go cheer for another team." Or "frick you"
At least here and the coaches changing board there is actual discussion. Sorry about it

FiddleHeadLSU Fans are coming around to how terrible O is by FiddleHeadOnly took us losing a couple 4-5 stars to see the light Their reasoning for loving O was his recruiting ability and him letting the coordinators run the offense/defense Well one week in and he already has shown he can't close the deal on recruits and Decided to he only wants mobile quarterbacks because he thinks he knows whats best for the offense.....as a d line coach. frick we're about to suck, I guess we already kind of do though Melt day 6.

Myles did not decommit. He and his Dad stated they want to see who new OC will be.
Yeah, O is "terrible". He was 5-2 in 2016 as heads coach, with the Florida game inches from being 6-1.
He was tied 0-0 with #1 Bama in 4th quarter, and in his 5 wins, he scored at least 38 points and routed all 5 opponents.
But, he's "terrible."

Jesus you're stupid...........

I wouldn't call him stupid. He is legitimately concerned over a hire for the football program he supports.

So with this season included, LSU just hired a head coach that is 14-29 overall as a head coach.

Look at it a different way...

What if Alleva had gone out and hire Charlie Partridge away from FAU before they fired him this past weekend? Same thing basically as what LSU got in Orgeron.

Partridge is 9-27 in 3 years as a head coach. He was a successful DL and DC at Pitt, Wisconsin, Arkansas, and Eastern Illinois prior to being a head coach.

So Ill ask, what is the difference between hiring Partridge and Orgeron? None. They're the same class of head coach. Both with terrible overall records who have proven they cannot run a program from the HC position. A position that is much more than just filling in for 7 weeks and trying to win games.

O:

5-2 record in reality. 7-0 when factoring in moral victories.

Miles had a better winning percentage in reality and an equal percentage after moral victory factoring.

Fiddle and Yat are correct. Joe downgraded when he promised an improvement at HC.

O will take the Tigers down to losing records, at least by 2018 or 2019 when Miles' recruits are gone. I'm not talking about losing SEC records-I mean losing overall records.

Man, just relax and don't speak for me. I'm riding with LSU, and since Ed is the coach, I'm riding with Ed.
