So now LSU has aTm fans melting for them.
Sort of a melt-by-proxy. This is a new one. I'm impressed.

1. Move SEC HQ to the Memphis area a much more central SEC location.
The SEC's geographic center is Nauvoo, Alabama.
Distance from Nauvoo, Alabama to Birmingham is 59.6 miles; 1 hr 1 min.
Distance from Nauvoo, Alabama to Memphis is 189.3 miles; 2 hr 58 min.

"Dallas ain't part of the SEC..." What does that even mean? This makes zero sense.

Saban has made LSU's sense of dignity and self respect quit.
Serious question though, if they moved the SEC office from Birmingham, wouldn't there be claims of bias wherever it went? Atlanta? UGA bias. Nashville? UT bias. New Orleans? You get the picture. Or does that only work when Alabama is involved?

As crazy as that sounds you hit the nail on the head. Only problem our A.D. has no balls!

Hey, y'all left a conference because Texas got too much attention and are too butthurt to play them again
And now we have to play this gayass game on Thanksgiving
But I'll still be there though

I've been saying Charlotte, NC for years.

Which must be why we offered to play them multiple times, only for them to turn the offer down

It actually doesn't bother me that much, as long as Alleva lets CBS and the SEC know that we aren't playing on Friday again. I can live with Saturday nights here and Thanksgiving night in College Station. But it sounds like that might not be the case anymore

I also see similarities between LSU's current conference situation and the one that Texas A&M left behind just a couple of years ago.

I know, but these are the flame parameters, and by God, we must abide by them

Oh, for real? I honestly hadn't kept up with it much after the initial news broke. I'm down with the arrangement of T-day in CStat and Saturday in BR, tho

That's the trade off. We were willing to do just about anything to get that game off of black Friday.
