Refs are always there with a key call when Bama needs it.

Yeah, Bama needed 20 yards in penalties in the OT.

They needed the chance at a 1st down.

1. Move SEC HQ to the Memphis area a much more central SEC location.

2. Hire only fball refs who live in the Mountain West and have no relationship with any SEC school. I am serious. SEC can afford it.

If LSU ever gets fricked to the point of actually losing to aTm we're out of here. Not sure even Slive could pull that off though.

Dear Lord. Using your link, and hitting the pause button, you can CLEARLY see the original spot was correct. He was on top of the play and making the spot. The knee went down 1/2-1 yard short of first down. The reason he isn't looking to the middle of the field for confirmation of where to spot is because he was the spot, and wanted to make sure it was a 1st down. How you guys can try to keep denying this shite is comical.

I said Memphis AREA, bammer. Birmingham is a festering cesspool and too far east to be central to the SEC.

why not atlanta? ... i've always thought the sec office should be there ... it's the only big-city in the south that has the media exposure/connections/etc necessary for the sec ... memphis area? ... hell, what's the difference between memphis areas and b'ham areas? ...

What would you call LSU quitting the A&M series a couple decades ago?

When the hell has TexA&M ever been a program teams fear or run from? I'm 100% positive that LSU didn't stop the series because of TexA&M was a powerhouse program/team.

That first clip always makes me laugh. Would love to know the real story behind that.

Never saw that clip before. If you look closely, you see that the linesman is shielded from where the ball is by White's body. Umpire is looking right at it and has a clear view of where the ball is and sees exactly where the spot should be.

Still a funny gif, though! But it doesn't show what people want to think that it does.

Problem with your still is that his knee went down a yard earlier before he rolled to there and he ran in to that spot a yard back. Lol

Thank you for clarifying for us that you don't know shite about the rules of football. The spot isn't where the knee hits...it's where the ball is when the knee hits.

Jesus fricking Christ...you're an LSU fan, right? How in the hell is anyone supposed to believe you when you start bitching about blown calls when you don't even know the fricking rules?

See my post above. Get a clue and go read the rule book.

it's funny how 99.99% of LSU ref complaints are ONLY in bama games.

Here's a shot a fraction of a second earlier. His knee hasn't even touched yet, and the ball is beyond where you guys want to think it should be.

For crying out loud...LSU fans actually thinking the spot should be where the knee hits? Seriously? Are all of you guys so clueless?

Actually, dickbags, I am quite aware that the ball is spotted where the ball is when the knee goes down. However, when you show a still of him being at the marker with the ball in hand, and the video shows that his knee was down a yard earlier, the ball, not being stretched out, is also a yard further back. His knee was down 2 yards shy...the ball, nearly a yard...basically exactly where he went in and originally spotted it. Nice try though!

Yea Bubba, we need a gump to tell us it's where the ball is when his knee hits.

If you look at the GIF or the whole replay it's obvious he is looking back to locate the first down marker and is all but tripping on himself to make sure it's a first down.

Are you gumps really that clueless not to see that Bubba?

And since I suck at taking stills and slow mo, let's look at a better video showing CLEAR video evidence.
