We were willing to do just about anything to get that game off of black Friday

Word. We played on T+1 for a stretch there awhile back, and it was horrible, IMO. Either Thanksgiving night or Saturday after or GTFO, imo.

Oh, for real? I honestly hadn't kept up with it much after the initial news broke. I'm down with the arrangement of T-day in CStat and Saturday in BR, tho

I dunno, I read something saying that the Saturday game for us isn't set in stone, and well since the Iron bowl is on Saturday that weekend, it will be the CBS first choice so we could get stuck with Friday, unless CBS makes some change

For our games in BR, I see no reason why we can't have the Iron Bowl in the midafternoon time slot and the Gulf War in primetime. Or vice-versa.

Friday is just a shitty day all-around for our game.

I'm just not sure how it works with CBS and their contract agreement with the SEC and when they can do double headers

Guess it's something that'll resolve itself over the next few years.

Isn't the ACC based in Charlotte? Their championship game is played there in any case, they probably don't want to give that territory up.

Let's put it in D.C. That's a nice neutral location.

So Texas must have quit cheating as soon as A&M left their conference. Because Texas hasn't been the same since Bama whipped them. Did Texas cheat only while A&M was in their conference?
So now since joining the SEC it's Alabama? Not Texas ? All those black helicopters!

Go ask Nebraska and get back to me.
Go ask Colorado and get back to me.
Go ask Missouri and get back to me.

The SEC's geographic center is Nauvoo, Alabama.

That's about eight miles further from Tuscaloosa than B-ham is. I think the LSU folks would be fine with that.

LSU can't escape the screw job even in bowls. Another game won by LSU on the field but lost on the scoreboard
