#1 defense in the SEC despite awful pass rush. We should give Chavis a raise.

is it just me or does that graph not indicate anywhere what year they reached the BCS NC game.

There is a footnote, but it doesnt correspond to anything on the graph.

Poor graph work.

Aside from our qb issues this is the reason for our average seasons.

LSU hasnt really had a dominant QB that you were scared of until you go back to Jamarcus or Rohan but have been a title conference title contender almost every year. A big part in this was our Dline could literally dominate a game. Physically we would wear people out on both lines of scrimmages. Once we get back to having that kind of performance again LSU will be back into the thick of things

I don't know how much Corey Raymond is making, but it's not enough.

He held up our defense for the past two seasons.

09-14 : 73% of losses opponents were held under their season averages on both 3rd down conversion % and points scored by the LSU defense.

Not a defensive issue.

Don't be skeered. Present all the past stats you want, but State will return to the status quo of getting their arse stomped by the Tigers this year.
We'll be gentle.

Once Chavis left there was a reason Brick was dumped too. My guess is Brick was gone either way.

This is true. And your esteemed program lost the best coach on your staff to that school

Thats what happens when you get a few busts and players that look like tarzan but play like tarzan after he had gender reassignment surgery. I won't go full on playing like Jane levels cause we have had some decent DL lately but there has been a..... decline

We're all well aware of this. The good news is the only direction is up from here. Plus we got O and some fresh awesome recruits, this won't be an issue for long. We might not be top the SEC this season but you can expect a healthy improvement. Two years from now we'll be back on top.

You can't deny that is a decline, but how does the numbers last season compare to the national average for sacks per team per season?

We chose to let him go, we could have easily resigned him.
