Meh, we started a true freshman QB vs Auburn for his first career start on the road.

Cool. Auburn reamed y'all. Get over it and move on.

No, that would be you. I'm not the one trying to make a point.

I do think that the strengths of our team help us match up better with the Rebels than other teams that they beaten up on this year.

We are giving up 82.25 yards per game on the ground. 2nd behind Bama. We throw for 282 per game (3rd) in conference to you giving up 156.

Yes, but you gave up 180 yards on the ground vs. Bama and they are the only team you have played that comes close to having a similar rushing attack like LSU. Right now Bama has 1566 yards rushing for the year compared LSU's 1767. Its what we do, its all Miles wants us to do. I would expect we will have more success than just 82 yards. And, as you stated we have been stingy vs pass minus the State/AU games....so we will see how things go there. Something that those teams have that OM doesn't have though? A great rushing attack. They have more balanced O's that made things confusing for our young D at times. And, our D overall is playing much much better than they did in those two games. Just some food for thought

Y'all will definitely have some success running the ball.

Our rushing defense statistics are slightly flawed because we allowed 0 rushing yards to Tennessee last week.

One key thing about this game that may be overlooked a little bit is that Alabama did have success running the ball on Ole Miss. Yeldon had 6.2 ypc in that game and 124 yds. What killed Alabama was big negative plays that threw off the long steady drives.

LSU have backs that are can do just what Yeldon did so they need to stay with that gameplan and play field position ball. The Ole Miss defense is extremely aggressive so watch for a naked bootleg at one point in this game to go for big yardage for LSU.

IF the D plays well for LSU, this game will go to the 4th quarter in play. Still think Ole Miss has an experience advantage so I still think Ole Miss wins barely.

Would not be surprised to see LSU pull this one out.

And at the beginning of the season when A@M kicked USC you probably were one on the rant thinking A@M was the goat. Get real it shows you DON'T know college football!!!!

Well, if LSU is having any success running the ball then Saturday night will get very interesting.

We beat y'all with our 3rd string last year. All our players are healthy as an ox. This doesn't spell good tidings for y'all.

We win if we come out the damn gates swingin'. I said that for the Auburn game, and we ran 75% of our first 5 drives. That's stupid. I understand our (Les Miles') whole concept is to wear down the defense, but how can you do that if you are trying to convert 3rd and longs for most of the game?

How do we win? Deception. Show Ole Miss what everyone else hasn't seen the whole year. Screens, draws, deep balls. But unfortunately, this is the wishful thinking most fans have going into every game.

The truth is LSU will still be predictable with their offense and all we can hope for is that it's successful.

And if we see the old Bo. Bo hasn't turned the ball over lately, but once he starts the wheels can fall off, ala Boise. He has been so proficient lately and their D is stout. If they keep that up, OM wins big.

Tiger Stadium at night...anything is possible.

Well based on this logic y'all should've lost to Bama this year after getting shut out last year, amirite???

The reason for this though is that the coaching staff was more afraid of Sims as a passer and we did not stack the box. I don't believe Jennings is on Sims level, passing wise.

Not saying LSU can't make a running game happen, but comparing y'alls team to LSU isn't a fair comparison because we'll have a different game plan. We've done different things for different teams all year.

LSU needs to stay conservative. They have such young QBs that playing aggressively in the passing game is a game heavily tilted in Ole Miss' favor.

Don't get stuck on that. The game just got out of hand and rolled downhill on us.

Same thing happened to Kentucky Saturday. LSU isn't 38 points better than Kentucky.

I think the old Bo is a thing of the past - that dude has found his stride and he has a defense that helps him tremendously.

Miles better let Cam open up the offense and throw some stuff at that OM defense that they aren't prepared for - that's the only way LSU's offense will be productive.

Yes, but now you guys are the hunted instead of the other way around, that plus revenge factor, plus the home filed advantage? hmmmm....
