But 3 games outside of your state in 25 games is turrible.

Games at Lafayette and New Orleans aren't road games.

That's like playing Arizona st in Surprise and calling it a neutral site.

And? Besides 3 games who has Arkansas beaten on the road? We know they've lost to plenty of good and bad teams on the road. Why is it terrible considering who we play in the SEC on the road in the next couple series? You wanna actually argue that isn't going to get us prepared for postseason play somehow? Oh but I already know your going to argue going out to Arizona and getting swept 4 games has you in a better position nevermind you lost 2 of 3 at home the next weekend.

I think he's just saying your schedule is laughable up to this point for not leaving the state in the OOC.

Hopefully your AD doesn't make the same mistake in basketball scheduling again because it seems like he likes to schedule like a pussy and it hurts the conference.

Bragging about 23-2 with who you've played is funny regardless, kind of like an MSU fan bragging about 7-0 or whatever it was last year in football.

Arkansas and Vandy went and played road series' against Top 15 teams, few teams actually do that it seems but it helps the sport.

Imagine football if every major team just played 4 cupcakes or basketball with no tip off tournaments/maui etc to start the season and a bunch of Delta State type games.

Baseball needs to start scheduling marquee series' like the other 2 sports do if it wants to grow and branch out further.

LSU playing a series at like Arizona or UCLA or somewhere like that would draw as many fans for that series as they'd see all year and help get people more into the sport IMO.

When teams like LSU, South Carolina, Arizona, North Carolina, etc, Top 10 teams, don't leave their state in the OOC it just hurts the game.

Considering LSU is the only reason the game is even half of what it is today, this really isn't a valid argument.

So now we know why Arky won't play UCA

And I always thought it was because they would lose.

This person believes Skip Bertman and gorilla ball electrified college baseball and brought in tons of new interest from the media. School after school and coach after coach across the nation have stated their ADs began investing in their programs after watching What LSu did. Deny all you want, the truth is the truth.

So what you're saying is overpowered bats are what made college baseball what it is today?

Why don't you go chase down Warren Morris' walk off home run from 1996, which was voted the single greatest play in CWS history; it began a slow roll & has just now reached your neighborhood. Of course Arky being the bunt kings is impressive too.

You could have given Bertman's teams that won wooden bats and they still would have beat the teams they beat. Talent bro, pure talent...

Aluminum bats energized CB, gorilla ball made everyone take notice. Come talk to us when tflagship puts six nattys in the case.

Baseball is humbling. One hot pitcher, and the run is over. Good chance a 30 wins in that stretch, and just dropping 2 would still be great....

Not a chance in hell. Kentucky will win a game and USM isn't a steal

LSU has won 26 straight mid-week OOC games dating back towards the end of 2011 season.

But yeah, I'd be completely shocked if we got through the next 2 SEC weekends unscathed. Yeah Mizzou sucks but we're on the road and 2/3 is usually best you end up with, a road sweep is a rare thing. Then UK is a really good team and even though we have a big advantage at home since they built their team for their park it's tough sweep a good team in the SEC.
