I hope there's never a time where a topic "over my head" comes from a poster who spells arguement [sic] incorrectly.

All the Gators coming out of the woodwork in this thread.

Mora at LSU, Fisher at FSU, Richt at Georgia, and Jones at Tennessee would be amazing. Amazing.

FSU has accomplished more than UF in half the time, little bro

Little bro? Look at the series record, look who has the longest streak, largest margin of victory, oh yeah who tapped that arse in the NC?

FSU is the least respected school in the state. Not much of an accomplishment to be in the worst conference in the nation. Oh, and your famous coach admitted he would never join the SEC because it was too difficult.
HalfAss U - always circling the drain.

While I hate to interrupt a North Florida slap fight, I wanted to ask the LSU fans a question.
I have read on the TR a lot of posts calling for a new HC but they also want Alleva to make the new HC retain certain assistant coaches.
Do y'all really think any HC worth a damn wold agree to such a condition?
I would imagine any new HC coming into a situation where he follows a guy that was there for 10 years would want to completely clean house and install HIS guys in assistant coach positions.
It seems like a lot of LSU fans are wanting to have their cake and eat it too with a hypothetical coaching change. If y'all really want a new regime and a fresh start with a big time HC I don't think forcing him to keep some of Miles's assistants is going to get the result you want.

They'd go from having one of the classiest coaches in CFB to one of the slimiest overnight.
Not everyone can be honest like Saban. They're paid to win. Character is a bonus.

I am fine with our current head coach. Does he cause me heartburn, sure does, but having lived through the Coach Hallman experiment, I would stay with Coach Miles

they can pay just as much as LSU, and they won't want to fire him after losing 2 games.
Ehh FSU is ok. For such well rounded athletic programs, they have had a knack for not paying top $ for coaches. I'm not really sure if it's for a lack of money or if the school isn't that interested in devoting a lot of resources into its AD. UGA snatched Pruitt away from FSU & UGA isn't exactly known for paying its assistants well. There are a lot of dynamics at FSU that don't make that much sense to me FWIW.

Can the Gator fans please stay out of this thread?

Jimbo wouldn't leave FSU for LSU, though he may use LSU to get a raise.

Fire a coach who recently won you a Natty? Thats some Aub level stupid right there.

It would set a nice precedent for potentials. Come to LSU where you can lose 2 games and get fired. We know you wont beat Daddy Nick so that means 1 game and youre out. We know you moved your family here and have kids in the schools ect but fk it.

a new coach would be a fricking retard to clean house when we have Ed O and Frank Wilson. I don't want to hire a coach that wouldn't keep them. Ed O is the best asset that we have

FSU matched the Pruitt offer. There was some off the field issues that went into him leaving

Under most circumstances, as long as he wants. He's a proven winner at the highest level. What more can a school really ask for? And people call Bama fans delusional...
