Lets say in a vacuum someone said youll get a HC, and in 10 seasons youll have 7 10 plus win seasons

Many schools will jump all over that

And ohyeah you face one of the best HCs in college each yr

It's not about what he's done it's what he projects to do over the next 5-10 years.

Doesnt LSU have the top recruiting class right now?? So how are these "projections" coming about?

That doesn't mean much when you refuse to adapt to changing tactics, are completely incapable of developing a quarterback, routinely play extremely sloppy, and are extremely undisciplined.

If he will turn over the keys to the offense to a young up and coming mind then I'm sure he'll be retained barring us getting blown out again in both of the final 2 games but I don't know that he's going to be willing to do that.

I dont know many QB U teams in college that consistently puts QBs in the pros.

Word is that Cam wont be back next yr, if he still has the job Les needs to find the best replacement he can and let him loose.

We have among the worst pass offenses in the nation every single year since 2009 sans 2013 and 2011 (sort of)

LSU, you realize you're essentially Mississippi and Arkansas and Les Miles has kept you from piss poor records for years, right?

jimbo will not leave FSU for LSU. he can recruit at the same level and he doesn't have to play bama every year. he has a much easier schedule and a much easier path to the playoff. his recruiting pitch is literally "hey we are the best here, come here we will win all of our games easily and it will be easier on your body" *per his pitch to devin white* I see no reason he would come to lsu. someone enlighten me of how I am wrong.

Went through a divorce recently, FSU doesn't pay assistants well (see Bert), loves LSU, SEC is where the big boys are

I don't see what the divorce has to do with anything. the big boy thing seems like a deterrent imo. he is at a top level job with a much easier schedule. he is at the Ohio st of the ACC. he already plays florida every year without playing bama. the goal is to win the natty. it is easier at FSU. if you can convince me that it's easier at lsu (it isnt) then I'd believe you. the only thing you said that has any rational is the assistant pay, but as we all know LSU is bankrupt so idk how much more they are able to pay to all assistants.

Fisher didn't even have the balls to stand up to Winston. What makes you think he has the balls to come challenge Saban?

Jimbo Fisher is smart enough to not leave his nest on the ground at FSU.

No way he would leave for LSU.

I do not know. He does not seem really happy at FSU.

With the talent LSU has, if they could get a coach who can develop a qb--- that would be scary.

You can never be sure. All you can do is decide whether the status quo is acceptable. It's not. Therefore, a change is absolutely necessary. We might miss on the first try, but we'll eventually get the right guy. That would be better than sticking with what is obviously not working and is not going to work in the future.
