Zach mettenberger td pass to jarvis landry 2012 vs bama in south endzone of ts. It gave us the lead midway thru the 4th quarter. It was the loudest roar I've ever heard at a sporting event period. I wasn't at the earthquake game vs auburn.

The Prayer at Jordan Hare
It was so quite before that play, and the intensity was just amazing when Louis grabbed it. Head phone users beware.
While I was at the Kick 6, and it was a better play, it was more gradual and honestly not as loud as the Georgia game in my memory
Edit: Woops, linked to a personal account. Here ya go

“The loudest game I have ever attended – start to finish – even postgame. You haven’t lived until you’ve heard ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ with accompaniment from 50,000 cowbells.”
– Stewart Mandel, Fox Sports (10.11.14) following MSU’s 38-23 home win vs. No. 2 Auburn

“The environment Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium was as electric as any college sporting event you’re ever going to find. It was the loudest stadium I’ve ever been in and it wasn’t just the cowbells. It was an awesome environment all the way around and great people.”
– Chris Low, ESPN.com (10.11.14)

The combination of the big-game atmosphere with the clanging of the cowbells created a raucous environment that rivals that of any stadium in any sport.”
– Barrett Sallee, Bleacher Report (10.13.14)

“It was the most awe-inspiring effort by an SEC fan base in memory. They didn't just watch some amazing things happen Saturday in their own Dawg Pound. They helped make them happen. They didn't just ring responsibly. They celebrated responsibly, too. They didn't just help make a difference. They helped make a statement. A Mississippi State-ment. The Bulldogs are setting the pace on and off the field these days. Let's hope that what happened in Stark Vegas doesn't stay in Stark Vegas. College football would be better for it if other fan bases followed their lead.”
– Kevin Scarbinsky, AL.com (10.14.14)

“Those polite Mississippians ditch the Southern hospitality in favor of sadism, transforming their stadium into a torture chamber. They ceaselessly pound upon your eardrums. The high-volume video board functions as a waterboard. Then the fans add one more layer of sound by howling hysterically for four hours. On football Saturdays in 2014, with a dream of a team to cheer for, it is an ear-splitting slice of hell for the visiting team. Of all the intimidating venues in America, I cannot imagine a single more oppressive place than previously sleepy Davis Wade Stadium.”

Kinda bummed seeing UGA on teh receiving end of some of these.
I've been to countless UGA home games, was in person for the 05 bama/UF game, a handful of iron bowls, a TSIO, the prayer in 13, the '13 ut game in knox, and many many others home and away all across the SEC.
But far and away the loudest single MOMENT I've ever heard was skyler green's TD in 03. Full game? Not sure, that's really hard to quantify. But I don't think it's physically possible to hear a single moment louder than that. If someone next to you was shouting something in your ear you couldn't hear it.
An as an aside, one thing I think gets always overlooked about the end of that game (along with our 93 yard screen pass with a few minutes left to even tie the game) is that even after LSU's score David Greene marched us right back down to around midfield or inside LSU territory. Corey Webster (i think) intercepted to end the game but that LSU TD damn sure didn't seal the deal. Slobberknocker of a game between 2 physical teams.

1993 Bama v Tenn when David Palmer QB sweeped it for the 2 point conversion to tie.

UGA at Alabama 2007. We were sitting in the lower bowl at Bryant Denny. Both teams ranked and Bama was undefeated, Georgia had lost to USCe in week 2.
Bama was down 10 in the 4th quarter, kicked a FG to bring it to 7, then held Georgia on the next drive. Got the ball back and tied it up with about a minute left. Stafford drove UGA down to FG range and they missed a long one as time expired, forcing overtime. Bama kicks a FG, then Stafford throws a beautiful pass for a TD on Georgia's first play.
I couldn't hear myself yelling. It was just a 20-30 minute roar during the 4th and OT. My ears were ringing for 2 days.

The loudest moment in Tiger Stadium history was during a commercial break. 2007 Florida at LSU, the famous 4th down game. During a timeout, the LSU announcer read the final score of then #2 USC vs. Stanford at the end of the 3rd quarter. USC lost, meaning that LSU would be unanimous #1 with a win versus Florida. There was still a lot of bad blood between LSU and USC back in those days after the media did that split championship bullshite since they didn't agree with the BCS. Listen for yourself. The high level of noise lasted for several minutes without stopping, and there wasn't even any game action going on.

It definitely has to be sudden. In 2015 when that an Auburn player caught a tipped pass in stride vs. Bama, I thought that moment was louder than the Kick 6 even though it was way less important

I've heard from a lot of old timers (including Bama fans) that that was an all-timer for crowd noise.

2003 UA @ AU Cadillac's opening snap TD
2004 LSU @ AU a few moments, Eddins sack, both completions on the final drive
2006 UF @ AU the entire 2nd half but especially the blocked punt

2007 LSU @ UK. The atmosphere in the 2nd half was electric, and the OT's were over the top. Amazing environment. I'm so glad I was there.
