It's total volume that counts, not number of people.
Auburn just has better fans than Bama does.

I'm guessing you weren't there then? I posted the youtube of the exact moment I was talking about, and it was absolutely the loudest I had ever heard Tiger Stadium, and I've been going there since before the upper decks.

We were beating LSU pretty much all game in 2006 (I think). We ended up being on the goal line with our backs to the student section. I couldn't hear a thing. It was a disastrous possession that eventually helped LSU eke out the win.

I was there... student section... A supremely dumb moment considering we had nothing to do with USC, but it wasn't louder than any game-winning TD mentioned in this thread. Don't you think it was louder for Hester's TD or the 4th-down conversions?

That 2005 Fla @ Bama game may well be the loudest game I have ever been at.
