Kenny Wheaton : The Pick

Even that video doesn't give it enough justice. We finally got the monkey off our back and beat our arch rivals to go to the Rose Bowl for the first time in 40ish something years.

Gang Green song/highlights I used to listen to this about 10 times a day when I was a kid... Still have it on the playlist at all the tailgates. Damn, I loved that team. With all of that swag and theatrics, you would have thought that we were Miami out there.

I would have to say 05' Florida.
To the UT fans I was starting to wonder if you were going to put the 98' Arky and UF games on there. I was at the Arky game and in one moment that was both the quietest and loudest place I have ever been. When the ball hit fumbled the place went silent until the UT player held it up and then the place erupted. I was at the top of the stadium and it felt like the surge was going to push me over the top.

As far as continuous noise is concerned, I'd have to go with '05 Florida. I remember watching that game on television and marveling at how loud the crowd in Bryant-Denny was.

As far as an explosion of noise? Definitely the '09 Tennessee game. I was in the student section for that game and it was freaking loud when we blocked that kick.

I cant say it was the loudest but when we played West Virginia in 2009, the rain game, it was rocking pretty good when AU came back on the field..

The crowd at JHS that night was just out of control

DWRRS: 1999 Tennessee game Stoerner to Lucas

WMS: 1998 Kentucky Game - Barrett interception and return

1989 Houston Game - Quinn Grovey outduels Ware

2010 LSU Game - Last play of first half

I'm seeing the commonality in this thread.

Bama: UF 05
Auburn: UF 06
Miss State: UF 09
LSU: UF 07
UT: UF 04

We make your stadiums louder.

The University of Florida: The SEC's one true Flagship.

I have quite a few at different locations:

BDS moments:

2005 Florida - sustained noise
1999 Miss State - often overlooked but very loud game that determined SEC West that year
2002 UGA - Peprah's pick 6 was intense.
2003 Oklahoma - right before OU's ballsy fake punt
2009 UT Rocky Block

Many other moments but those are just a few quick ones.

As for other SEC stadiums:

Not gonna lie, Jordan Hare was impressive during the 2 Iron Bowls I attended in 1995 and 1997. In 95, my buddy and I were literally on the 1st row of the endzone. We could lay our jackets on the hedge. Barners flat out brought the noise when Alabama was on offense.

The Swamp 1999 Bama's 40-39 OT win. UF almost held Bama for 4 straight downs inside the 3 and the noise level was intense. I was holding my breathe knowing someone was going to jump offsides but fortunately it didn't happen.

LSU bring back the Magic game 1995 Auburn/LSU. LOUD!! I was in the LSU student section for that one with another Bama friend, his LSU fan girlfriend, and two close Auburn friends. Bama friend's girlfriend was from Baton Rouge and her dad was a law professor so we had free tickets

LSU 2003 was prob the loudest single moment. I literally thought the stadium was going to collapse.

But I would also have to include LSU 2009. On that last drive when Emmanuel Stephens got a hugggge sack to take them out of FGR, I could feel the stands vibrating. Plus it was a night game and at crunch time. Place was rocking.

not sure if its in this thread or another one recently, but anyone who thinks Sanford Stadium doesn't get incredibly loud is incredibly dumb.

1987 LSU-Georgia game, some Georgia WR (Cassius Osborn ??) got behind LSU's secondary and scored on a 75 yd pass to put Ga up for the first time that afternoon. One of the loudest erruptions I've ever heard.

Loudest moment in an opposing stadium was 2006 vs OM in the waning seconds of the game. Russell to Bowe to tie it up. Tiger Stadium erupted in an insane fashion. Too bad they had to get super-duper silent after the extra point.

The we lost in OT.

Not sure if this one has been posted.

Wasn't there, but from what I saw on TV, one of the most explosive reactions at Tiger Stadium, other than the Earthquake Game.

Hey UK. This might have to be the quietest in your stadium's history.

I honestly still feel bad about that one. We so didn't deserve to win that one. CNS even confessed to that after the game.

before my time unfortuntely, my answer the the question was UGA running out in black vs AU but the loudest i have heard anything really was Prince Miller's 92 yard punt return vs Alabama in 2008.

place was going nuts

It looks like they're running to a funeral.

I love seeing UGA dressed in black.

FWIW, I've been to every SEC Stadium and LSU is the loudest away stadium I've been to.

Thanks for the love, all4AU. You guys must just feel sorry for us because of baseball.

As for loud moments, Josh Bynes would agree with you on the 2007 LSU vs Auburn 4th quarter TD. Everything about that play was sick.
