What if I look at the record, but only look back 30 years? :mindblown:

Since everything with aubrun involves Alabama lets talk overall victories

...So not true but its funny that Alabama fans tell themselves that so they feel good and they can pat themselves on the back about how obsessed AU is

Oh wow - Bama's won two of three?? Man yall have really dominated as of late. Funny thing is that one loss bothers you a WHOLE lot more than either of those two wins made you happy. Let's look at the records over the past years:

last 5 : AU 3-2
last 10: AU 7-3
last 15: AU 9-6
last 20: AU 11-9
last 25: AU 15-10
last 30: AU 17-13

Yeah - yall lead the series all time. But you have to go back to the Ford administration (he was a President) to even have an equal record with us. If you want to hang your hat on that shite be my guest.

the way i see it, is that the series has been even over the last 30 years.

auburn went 7-3 between '01-'10. bama went 7-3 between '91-'00. and there was just a one game difference in the 80s.

Oh, so you get to pick and choose. I think we'll look at 2008 and 2009. You're only picking out where Auburn is ahead. Why not look at the entire history?

The reason you don't look at the whole history is because ancient history has zero bearing on the programs today. It doesn't make a damn bit of difference who won the IB in 1951. Same old dead Bear shite that Bama always falls on. "Yeah but we won the Rose Bowl during the Depression!" No one gives a frick. It seems a little nonsensical to brag about shite that happened before most the people on here were even born, let alone could even remember it.

I am not picking and choosing. It isn't like I have chosen random arse years (i.e. only saying 2008-2009) and looked only there. I showed the records from the last THIRTY years (yeah, a REAL selective window ) and shown the records in 5 year increments. How is that picking and choosing? Is it an era when Auburn is ahead? Yup. But that's a function of us beating yall, not manipulation of the years.

Off the top of my head, two that standout to me...

Current Buffalo Bill Stevie Johnson's last minute TD against #9 UofL to win it in '07:

And (don't hate me) the stop in the 3OT against LSU in '07 for the win when you guys were at #1:

Cam's introduction at the UGA game sticks out in my mind from this past year. Probably not the loudest but it will definitely stick out in my mind, mostly due to the circumstances

BUT, I'm really starting to think that "The Swamp" was a lot louder in the 90's.

It was a very loud constant noise in the 90's.
Thanks for the link. Great game. I was there. Had a migraine for 2 days after.

The Cock Block had to be the loudest roar...'91 or '97 for loudest sustained noise.

I agree with this. The Cock Block wasn't the loudest throughout the game but that one moment was insane.

Anybody been to Oregon's stadium? It holds the guiness record for loudest stadium. Can't argue against that. The stadium only sits about 65K I think but Phil Knight had it built to hold accoustics.

A&M had guiness come in like 02 I think but we didn't even get that close to the record IIRC. But again, our thing is sustained noise with the students yelling anytime the opponent has the ball. I'm on my phone now there's a vid of Texas calling a timeout and asking for a penalty because the crowd was too loud

Some say the '89 Iron Bowl, but I always go with AU-UF in 1993 as loudest game at Jordan-Hare.

LSU vs USC 1979. The loudest I ever heard Tiger Stadium. I have been going all home games since 1969. My father was and still is a season ticket holder and I have been one since 1988.

It still sickens me seeing videos for the Cock Block.

Glad we finally got a win down there in the Swamp.

Here it is. 1985. The Texas QB waits 2 minutes to snap the ball because the crowd is too loud on 3rd down and when he finally snaps the ball he gets sacked

Loudest moment that I've attended in Jordan-Hare was the blocked punt against Florida in 06. The stadium stayed jacked the entire second half after that.

1st quarter of the 05 Iron Bowl was loud, but not after that because Tubbs turned the gas off against Bama.

FWIW, I've been to every SEC Stadium and LSU is the loudest away stadium I've been to. 05 and 07 endings were rediculously loud moments.

Hard to compare Jordan-Hare to an away stadium because it's hard to measure crowd noise when you're in the middle of it/part of it.

Edit: was only 2 years old in 1989 but everyone says the IB was definitely the loudest game in JHS ever.
