Most sustained noise throughout the entire game:

LSU/Florida 1997

And there were levels during that game that rose to the noise levels in the 2007 game between the same teams.

Surely you aren't referring to the Choke at the Doak? The biggest 4th quarter comeback in NCAA history?

And here's the (overly) dramatic video:

Thanks, Dawg. It was a great game to be at. Culturally, I think A&M is a perfect fit in the SEC and we would bring another good athletic program to the SEC. We are currently ranked in 15 of the 16 sports we play with women's volleyball being the outlier

Here's two of my favorite clips from that Nebraska game

Pre-Game Towels
Post-Game Towels

Now, please SECede Ags!

Do you see them leaving in the near future? And what do the other aggs say about joining the big boys?

And yes Brooks, I'm referring to that tie ball game back in 94 or whenever it occured. Yes I'm highly sore/sensitive 17 years later

Ufowns...

Looking back - the extra-point to tie it appears to be louder than the actual TD

Yeah, I'm not clicking on that link. I've been able to put most of that game outside my permanent memory bank. Only thing I really remember was f$u's rb doing that moose antler celebration after scoring a td

It has been said thatMike Slive has left an open invite to us and OU to come whenever we want. OU isn't interested. We are but the admin is taking the money in the short term instead of the stability of the SEC.

In the new Big 12-2, A&M, Texas and OU are guaranteed $20 million per year and the other schools share the rest which is likely in the $14 million area. I don't see how a conference with unequal sharing will last. I really think Texas will try and go independent in the future and A&M will go to the SEC at that point but that's probably 5-10 years down the road.

But it'll happen eventually. There's no doubt in my mind about that

I really hope we don't add A&M. Not that I dislike their team or anything, but for selfish reasons that's just a long arse way to travel every few years. I think the SEC is great just how it is, but I understand money rules all and down the road we'll probably see a shift to bigger "super conferences" to where we'll be forced to expand. I don't/won't like it though.

Ours is easily 2003 LSU. Pick 6 to start the game off was the loudest I've heard VHS, which isn't saying much. Jonathan Nichols then ruined my year

2003 Iron Bowl when Caddy took it 80 yards on the first play. The crowd absolutely erupted when Caddy broke it outside.

I guess there aren't any old timers like me on here, but 1979 USC was the loudest sustained noise I've ever experienced. It was so loud the contents of your stomach would vibrate and tickle you.

2003: Pick 6 against LSU

The TD pass from McCluster to Hodge in 2009 got the stadium loud as well.

06 Florida game when UF came back out on offense after the blocked punt

04 LSU game winning TD

I don't know if it was as loud as those two, but there were points in this years LSU game when Jordan Hare was absolutely thundering. IMO, this year LSU game was the most electric atmosphere pregame and throughout since the 2004 UGA game.

WG is right about traveling being a bitch, but something about seeing the dawgs vs the wrecking crew in college station and experiencing the 12th man of kyle field (or w/e its called) has always captivated me. just always kind of liked A&M and after Texas' being a little bitch about the conference alignment i started to like them a little less and A&M a little more
