Well he had a shitty season and he pissed off all the players and supposedly told them he was pulling their schollies. Bye.

It was a rushed hire. I would trust Greg Byrne to hire a baseball coach more than Bill Battle. He has a proven record.

Seriously? He did a great job at Louisiana tech and the school prior. Give the man a second at least

Bama should go for another 318 coach and get Bruce Peddie. ULM just fired him so no buyout

Would be a poor decision, IMO, to not at least give him a couple years.

frick all the titty baby players and mommas who don't like the big bad coach because he doesn't do things the way they used to.

There is nothing worse in sports than mommas and daddies who think they know more than a coach. A close second is players who are older and get butt hurt because the new guy hurt their feelings, and they'd rather lose and the new guy catch heat than buy in and do what they're supposed to do.

He needs more time to install his system. I'd say 10-15 years.

He tried you yank a bunch of scholarships after he was specifically told not to / that he couldn't. He was warned over and over. frick him.

He has NCAA issues that should have prevented him from getting the job to begin with.

not really true, Saban kept a great deal of shula players and the 08 and 09 bama teams were lead by mostly Shula players, not all but most... Also, Saban first recruiting class at bama the 07 class over half were gone after the first year, by far Sabans worst class at bama..

I see where you are coming from, and generally I'd agree, but from the things that I've heard, Goff sucks, and he needs to go.

Dunn at Samford would do well in ttown. They'd be competing for titles in two years.

After the bullshite effort he was given this year by a collective group of pussy losers who very literally attempted to sabotage the season with their horseshite, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he yanked their scholarships and publicly told them to frick off.

I had a friend who played for Dunn. He said he was a bit of a clown show behind the scenes but an effective coach. Def an upgrade over this goof they currently have.

Is this what supposedly happened? Players sabotaged the season?
