Was this just some random thought that popped into your head this morning that you felt the need to share? Or is Legion Field actually in the news for some reason today?

Jackson Mississippi has a better football stadium option than Birmingham.

Birmingham is a mini city. A game there would suck.

I'm not sure I would brag about Memorial Stadium in Jackson.

The Georgia Dome isn't any worse than the Superdome.

Nobody's bragging. I'm just proving a point.

It is where Ole Miss plays their bowl games in years when they make a bowl.

you mean the stadium built in the 1920's in a mid size market isn't attracting huge events? shocked face.

It's where MSU, an SEC school, agreed to play UAB in a regular season game.

Lol at legion.

Uab is better off canceling the football program than to continue playing in that dump.

Blame Bham civic leaders.

Bama should have never committed to playing so
Many games there. But the real estate around Bryant Denny made it hard to expand back in the 60s/70s.

Tuscaloosa would be pretty different if more games were played there during that time.

I predict very low attendance.
