If he was trying to save money and therefore he had no one to negotiate his business interests he just cost himself

He should have never had any dealings with Arkansas. Jimmy Sexton would have handled all the dirty work and if Ky wanted cal gone they would have had to pay him. Now. Not so much.

Cal did not initially notify of the offer and negotiations but has since notified of the offer to see if UK would counter. Really not that hard to figure out. Cal was on the way out and he knew it. Arky opening was a soft landing spot. Worked out for both schools

He thought we would fire him and instead we didn't. Barnhart instead told him changes would need to be made, and initially he agreed, but I'm sure he really was not happy with being managed. Saved us $33M, and he gets to leave, and we get a new start. Win/win

Lol - IF there was anything to this, it would be played out in court. Nobody is just waiving their claim to $30+ mil because the other party says they did something wrong.
