It will be the first conference game for whoever is QB for both teams. Both teams have good to great defenses with questions on offense. Will either coach open up the game offensively or play it safe and play for the 4th quarter? Does it end up being a 17-14/ 21-17 type of game? Does this game scare any Bama fans?

As an OM fan it is almost a free game. If we win then we would be in great shape with winnable games until we go to Auburn. Even if we lose we could win out and possibly be in the discussion late in the season like last year.

It will most likely come down to which QB doesn't turn it over and make a couple of 3rd down throws in the 4th quarter. I give OM 40% change to win. What do you think?

I doubt you win out... PLUS did you see what Bama did to A & M last year??? Look for more of he same this year... LOCK OF THE YEAR is that Bama beats Ole Miss by at least 20....

I seriously doubt that a 1st year starting QB in his 3rd games scores 27 on our defense.

tough defensive game. Similar to both of our games in Baton Rouge this past season.

70-0 Ole Miss dominates, Saban quits, Freeze is inducted into the Hall of Fame, Swag Kelly is rewarded the Heisman, Kiffin is named Bama's new Head Coach, Bama never wins another game again

Doesn't scare me, but it does have me concerned if Chad Kelly can really extend plays outside the pocket and buy time. That and if Alabama's QB play isn't up to par. I feel comfortable that the game is at home, but shite does happen.

I don't see any way Bama loses this game. I'm more confident about the Ole Miss game than any others.

Saban doesn't lose revenge games.

It being in BDS is why I give Bama the slight edge. If it was in Oxford I would feel decently confident about it. Our defense is deeper than last year and should not give up much. Especially when the gameplan will be to load the box a dare Kiffen to open it up. Will Nick let Lane chance putting his defense in a bad spot with an inexperienced QB?

Ole Miss would need some kind of clear advantage for me to pick them in a revenge game on the road.

Alabama has lost three games in BDS since 2007. Three. It's a little more than a slight edge. You're not walking Cam Newton, Johnny Manziel, or 2011 LSU through those doors.

To counter your point McElroy, McCarron or Sims aren't walking through the door either. Neither is Ingram, Lacy, Jones or Cooper.

Would you not agree that the drop off from Yeldon to Drake is as big of a drop off from your #1 back to #2 in a few years? Does that not bother you knowing that there will most likely be an even more infasis on the run game this year with a new QB and Saban making a point this offseason that he feels the offense caused the defense to play more snaps last year than normal and it showed late in the year?

Lol, you guys made fun of all our last QBs and now they were so good we can't replace them. Sims can't even make a CFL roster, Greg lasted like two years as a back up. Whoever we trot out there will be good enough to get the job done at home against OM. BLEEEEEE DAT!

Henry, Drake, and Harris will be just fine behind a solid OL.
