They have very little shot at Herman if other big jobs open up. Not sure how many coaches want to jump into the toughest division when they'd be working with such a flaky administration and bipolar fanbase.

The guy accepted the South Carolina job until the lost to the Citadel and he realized what a cluster that job was and renigged. That tells me all I need to know how willing he is to jump to a P5 school

Miles had a team of 4-5 star players. Chip not so much.

I dont see many Oregon players in the pros. There are some but not compared to LSU

Yeah....no one would want to coach here...we only brought our previous two coaches (soon to be atleast) their first Natty's. Yep, having no recruiting competition instate will only harm more

Get your heads out if collective a$$es

Chip Kelly would be an excellent hire. He is a much better college coach than NFL

Likely would succeed at LSU but doesn't like all of the off-the-field things that come with coaching in college (i.e. recruiting, lunching with boosters, etc.)

Why would a coach go to ND when LSU can offer equal pay.

No one is getting more than 7 mil.

Both can pay 7 mil and 1 school inst located in a talentless state with no conference.

Op- we will fook it up - bc our state gov will be involved and our ad secretly wants to be a lacrosse powerhouse.

We will probably not fire miles - make him use some of his salary to bring dinardo back and they will be co-head coaches

saban and Les were both at one point the highest paid coach in college football while at LSU.

We pay ducking can Cameron 1.5 million dollars.

LSU is willing to pay coaches.

Kiffin is not a bad hire. Herman would be everyone's choice regardless of team but he wants Texas of available so if that job opens up he is likely to jump which puts you in the same boat you're in now. I'd go hard after Jimbo and if not why not look at Aranda.
