For starters, Jordan Jefferson wasn't a pocket passer. He ran the ball woth effeciency. Brandon Harris actually has an arm.

You're fighting a non-existent argument.

Haven't seen anyone say they think Brandon Harris is going to be an incredible QB this year.

We just know its logical, based on historical trends, that he would improve from year 1 to year 2 as a starter in the same system, with the same core team around him, a great RB tandem to lean on, added weight and strength, healed injuries, and much improved defense that will give him a lot of opportunities.

We just need him to be an efficient game manager.

But after they played their first year, they got beat out. That is the definition of not improving to year 2 because the coaching staff decided that the year of experience wasn't enough to start over another guy who had the same thing happen to him a year later

Nice strawman

If by efficiently you mean had 74 more rushing yards in 4 years than Bo Wallace had total in 3? Give me a break.

And this was the same exact thing people were saying about LSU in Aug. 2015. The point is most likely nothing has changed. And LSU fans are blind to it. It is going to be fun to watch.

Very convenient you left out Driskel's stats at LaTech
4,026 YDS, 62.3 CMP%, 27 TD, 8 INT, 154.1 QBR | 13 CAR, 92 YDS, 5 TD
Yes I know he didn't play in the SEC but he was a 6th round draft pick.

It might not be the QB but the coach and how they game plan. Bo Wallace might be the exception to that rule. He would be really good one game then pull a 180 and completely suck.

Freshman year JJ had one start.

2010 he split time with Lee throughout the season. 2011 he did not start a game
Until November 12.

Give me a break.

Still you are making argument that JJ was a good runner. His stats are almost exactly the same as Bo Wallace. Let that sink in.

1) I never made the argument

2) the poster who referenced his rushing stats said he was an "efficient" runner.

3) you try to compare bo Wallace, a three year starter, to Jefferson, who was the full time starting QB for 1 year in college.

Try to keep up.

Jefferson was a terrible QB and Harris was doing fine last year until November. He suffered a sports hernia injury in the Bama game and wasn't the same after that. He is infinitely more talented than Jefferson ever was so there is some cause to be optimistic as an LSU fan. However, comparing anything to any Ole Miss QB is fricking laughable because literally none of them have ever won shite.
