Probably true actually. OU was a pretty shitty team. Hell, I think Ole Miss could have beaten them.

AU just took Bamas manhood. Bamas never really had the heart or balls to handle adversity, just like against Utah I suppose.

A team like AU or LSU would get pissed and stomp a mudhole in OU. Team Like bama just quits though.

Bama wasn't nearly as good last year as 2009, 2011 or 2012. Not a championship caliber team. Didn't really beat a good team in the regular season. LSU, TAMU & MSU were all down from the previous year. Ole Miss was about the same.

Was that the one where LSU lost by 1 point? Hardly the same thing as getting steamrolled by OU.

Alabama fans are coming off like such hypocrites today (shocker). Did Stoops' comments really hurt your feelings that much? You got your asses kicked, it happens, welcome to the club.

I agree with Larry - Oklahoma wasn't impressive during the regular season

Barely beat 4-8 teams West Virginia and TCU at home

Got blown out by Baylor and Blake Bell had the worse passing game of any QB I have ever seen

Trevor Knight didn't even really play much in conference play

Had crappy 1st halves vs. Kansas and Iowa State before pulling away late

Blown out by an average Texas team

Oklahoma was very average at 10-2 before beating Alabama

I'm saying the "we didn't care/didn't want to be there" excuse that many floated after the loss. Of course it was not as bad as the Sugar Bowl but a loss and one accompanied by a lot of whining.

It's hard for a team to get motivated for a silly bowl.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dude, u guys should expect more from the great Nick Saban. He's the highest paid coach and cant get his team up for a Sugar Bowl? This after blowing the AU game himself?

When did excuses become part of the 'process". He sure knows how to hold everyone else accountable!
Here's a few tidbits about accountability and hypocrisy that may have a few of u feeling a little better about your own coaching staff.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"It was a consolation game against Okla?" what an excuse wow.

"Ive made mistakes in moving around alot. I shouldnt have had dreams and aspirations."

'I made mistakes in the Auburn and Okla games, but if the players wouldve executed correctly they wouldnt have been mistakes?' WTF

" The game shouldnt have ended this way." No shite coach I wonder why it did?

I never spoke with Texas.....so i didnt have any interest in the job, obviously. Come on man.

I am not leaving LSU to coach the Dolphins. Pls dont offer Steve Spurrier the job. repeatedly .... knowing full well

I am not leaving the Dolphins for the Alabama job......... repeatedly, knowing full well

"Im the only coach that thinks we should play a 9 game SEC schedule out of 14 coaches, who are wrong. People above the coaches should make this decision."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh and he hired Fire Lane 'The Truth" Kiffin to help with "maintaining the culture". Many "life lessons" being taught over there.

A few of us have been waiting to see if ole Nick could stay around a place long enough to just "maintain" it. You know its so easy to do this.

Most of us approved of the new OC hire, btw.
Seems even a few of the head coaches elsewhere, are starting to chime in as well. When it gets full blown will he be able to handle the criticism? He sure handled that Auburn loss well.

Time will tell.

Bama seems to struggle with the notion that tough losses don't go in a separate column.
