Because we don't hate the guy. It's time for him to go, but it doesn't feel right to dance on his grave. One of the GOAT coaches here and this ending feels weird.

Glad it happened but sorry for (not) partying.

I don't know where we've been in disagreement. I've yet to argue firing Miles. I'm arguing the blind absolute confidence is replacing him with someone far superior

They have a good chance to get a great hire, I'd say about 70%. LSU is a premier institution in a great area with history.

Good money, too.

That's way too generous. USC is 0 for 3 since Carroll. Texas whiffed. Michigan 1 for 3 since Carr. Bama was 1 for 7 between Bryant and Saban. Florida is at 1 or 2 of 4 since Spurrier with the jury still out. Notre Dame went through 4 terrible coaches until Kelly.

There just aren't many great coaches leaving in a given year, you have to take a risk and it usually doesn't work out

Yup. Can't wait for Saban to retire and Bama goes back to being the shitty, dirty cesspool it's always been. fricking most of Alabama smells like a big chilli fart.

Saban has always said LSU was a sleeping giant with potential for greatness when he was coming to LSU in the early 2000s.

That is a true statement.

Go back to sleep.
