Meaning LSU fans are not as excited about the future as some are pretending to be.

It's like breaking up with your girlfriend but she was nothing but good to you and you're wondering if you'll ever find someone better.

Guess you have not read my earlier post that the game this weekend is the first time in a long time I am really excited to see the Tigers play. Just a sense of rejuvenation. Hell, even ordered some Cohiba Red Dot for the weekend

They skipped the celebration we expected and immediately went into insecure 'you scared' mode. Pretty bizarre

Some LSU fans are nervous about the timing, as they should be. The rest are passing around the bullshite "we get an early start!" line like koolaid at a cult rally.

I haven't and I don't plan to. Why would I? I am a Bama fan. Anyway, i have been online a good bit of the day and plenty of LSU fans came out here to melt.

It does seem like they want to make Orgeron a de facto coach-in-waiting, doesn't it? No major coach is going to risk significant talks less than half-way through the season. They know there will always be leaks. Regardless, no matter how happy (or not) they are about Miles being fired, the smart ones will be at least a little nervous because this isn't Chizik running the program into the ground. The next hire could always do even worse than Miles.

Plus firing Les so early could frick up the next recruiting class where a late firing might not have.

Orgeron is a specialist at taking over in the middle of shitty situations. Didn't he take over at USCw and Ole Miss at one point. I seriously doubt he becomes head coach at LSU after this season.

Idk if you're going to be making glaring observations about the feelings of a fan base, I'd figure you'd go somewhere they congregate to get a pulse on them

Good point. With Bret and Sumlin not going anywhere, and Saban being Saban, lots of opportunities for poaching this cycle. Gus is almost gone, and Freeze's fate is still up in the air, but TAMU and Bama were always the biggest threats for LA talent anyway.

Wrong fricktard. I am as excited as I have ever been about LSU football. If and thats a big If, we get the coach I think we might get with LSUs talent then watch out.
