Fournette is NOT the best running back in college football and he never will be. He will never win the Heisman trophy.. and probably will never even be invited.

Don't get me wrong.. Fournette is GOOD.. but he is not GREAT. Stats prove this.

Fournette IS great. Unfortunately, his OL was not. Ask Trent Richardson if that is important.

quote:

Henry had more yards against EVERY common opponent.

Yet he still only averaged 5.78 YPC against those common opponents while Fournette averaged 6.01. Henry had 4 more rushing yards against Arkansas and need 8 additional carries to get it. He had 9 more yards against Florida and needed 13 more carries to get those 9 yards....and my favorite, he outgained Fournette against Auburn 271-228. Henry only needed 27 additional carries to do that. LF didn't play the 4th quarter against Auburn while Saban was feeding Henry the rock with less than 30 seconds left in a game they had under control.

You're the one that needs to face some facts.

I honestly hope he wins it. If he leaves LSU with 800 carries and his career highlight is a gif from 2014 that would be sorta sad.

It's a great gif. There are plenty more highlights, just none that quite get under the skin of an opposing fan base as much as that one.

The two worse rushing defenses last season in ALL OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL were Texas Tech and Eastern Michigan. LSU played both.

In those two games fournette had a combined 449 yards.. this accounts for 23% of his TOTAL YARDAGE. Amazing right?

so he has 23% of his total yards in 16.7% of the season. Your stats are meaningless dude. (Enter quote from billy madison where what you said made everyone in this thread dumber)

David Johnson has 581 career rushing yards. I mean the dude has started like 4 games in his career.

Ingram was playing better than Lacy and Murray a year ago. There's really no debating that Ingram was a top 5 back at the point he got injured last year (the problem).

Your uncle doesn't post here son. Rent free. In yo head.

This guy posts verifiable facts and y'all lose your shite.

If you look at boogers numbers against top 50 defenses he is overrated.

Doesn't mean he isn't good, but he is not close to Herschel, Bo, or Heisman Henry.
