I don't see UGA as the type of program that pisses in the face of the NCAA.

We leave that to the GTs, tOSUs, and Dez Bryant's of the world.

If the swimming program ends up on probation which they likely will, Georgia will then be tied for most NCAA infractions in the conference along with Texas A&M and Auburn

UGA self reported on that one (swimming academic eligibility issue)

I don't know what "infractions" means.
Secondary violations?
In one year?
Over five years?

Thanks. I knew I could count on you.

You gotta link for "tied for most infractions"?

I'm curious if that's the past 12 months.
2 years.
Secondary violations or Majors.

Give me some reading material, goddammit.

The usual moral superiority from Georgia posters is comical. The sports broker in question apparenty had been calling media outlets and offering to sell this story.

The Gurley story was likely coming out publicly no matter what Georgia did. Even Manziel got a half game suspension from the NCAA. Gurley was almost certainly going to get some kind of suspension no matter what Georgia did.

Georgia could try to ignore the situation and then Gurley could be suspened for the Florida or Auburn games instead of the Missouri and possibly Arkansas games

Aggies still loving JF despite him potentially throwing his teammates under the bus last pre season. Latest numbers had his autograph signings up over 4,400, this per a talking head on ESPN.Yea, and O.J. was innocent too.

No reason he shouldn't play. Innocent until proven guilty.

Uh, no.

Not according to most Student Codes of Conduct. Merely reflecting negatively on the university can be grounds for dismissal. We're not talking about a court of law here.

It is crazy that he may not be able to play. With the Manziel situation, not to mention the lack of Winston and Clowney situations, it really seems unfair if he doesn't play. That being said, I don't think he plays.
