I dunno Florida has had a decent amount of RBs get drafted in that frame. Probably as many as Arkansas. But they definitely never had a mcfadden, gurley, ect
I'm completely blanking on who the RBs are. I can think of at least 1 or 2 from Bama, UGA, and Arky. I'm not saying they were bad just not as memorable as some others

Deshawn Wynn
Kestahn Moore
Chris Rainey
Jeff Demps
Emmanuel Moody
Mike Gillislee
Matt Jones
Kelvin Taylor
I think only Jones is in the NFL off that list

QBR is a made up ESPN stat. UGAs QBs have been light years ahead of any programs. Bama's QBs padded their stats with a bubble screen and dink passing offense.

Well, if the list includes consistently bad QB play I think that LSU is a clear front runner with the Mett anomaly standing out as an incredible outlier.
consistently bad for a team that has been consistently good, sure. Over the last 10 years Vanderbilt, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Auburn, and Florida have been just as inconsistent.
Vanderbilt - haven't had a serviceable QB since Cutler (left in 2005)
South Carolina - Outside Connor Shaw, who was slightly above average, who have they had?
Kentucky - Woodson was good in 2007, but since then, Patrick Towles has been the best they've had and he's been bad
Mississippi State - Dak has been good, then you have guys like Kevin Fant, Tyson Lee, Chris Relf, and Tyler Russell - all bad to average at best
Tennessee - Ainge had a good year in 2007. Crompton was ok for one year in 2009. Dobbs has been pretty good the past year. Bray was ok. Then you have Matt Simms, Justin Worley, Nick Stephens, etc
Auburn - had Cam for one year and Nick Marshall for 2. Other than that, highly unspectacular.
Florida - Chris Leak was a good manager and Tebow was Tebow, but they've had bad QB play since Tebow's last year in 2009
LSU - Jamarcus was great, Flynn was above average. Jefferson did just fine in 2009, sucked after that. Mettenberger was great in 2013.
If you want to be completely honest, only Alabama and Georgia, and to a lesser extent Arkansas, have had consistent QB play throughout the last 10 years. The SEC in general has just been consistently underwhelming for QBs

Yea, it is. If I was using QBR you would have a point. I am using Passer Rating, which is an age old stat used by just about everyone. Thanks, though.

Bray built his resume with games against North Texas, Memphis, MTSU, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, etc.
I can't remember a single big game in which Bray had a good day.

Connor Shaw was a pretty dang good college quarterback. Garcia was a nutcase, but he was average to above average. Blake Mitchell was average. Smelley wasn't very good. Whatever they had this year wasn't very good.

Good info, but McGee, Johnson, Tannehill, and Manziel all had big to huge rushing #s. QB Rating doesn't capture that.

Plus Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Bray may have had one game against Georgia where he threw for a bunch of yards (2012 maybe?). He only played 1 time against Alabama and I don't remember much against Florida.

Either Georgia or Arkansas. I'd probably give the nod to Georgia.

Yep - I'd agree that A&M is def. on the list, maybe even in the Top 2.

It depends on what your standard as "big game"
Went off on South Carolina in 2012 off the top of my head, they were a top 20 team at the time if I remember correctly
He also had to deal with a really bad defense

Yep.
2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014 all had pretty competent to elite QB play.
2008, 2011, 2012, 2015 all had terrible QB play.

eh, he had a big arm but a two cent head. never completed 60% of his passes and padded a lot of his stats throwing 45 times against bad teams. His performance in SEC play was not very good.

More of a testament to the talent around the qb's or qb's themselves ?
