I doubt anything was "hacked", the stepdad probably just knew the password and used it. Either way, I still believe that is illegal.

After watching the video, I don't think that he understood the question he was answering. Do I think he ever got paid while he was in college? Hell yea, just like every other start D1 player. But I don't think that he knew what he was saying in the moment in his PC. I think he was ready to admit to smoking weed, but didn't know about the conversation screenshots, which I think are probably BS. Way too much cliche about "light bills" and what not in those.

I think he was aware the instagram situation occurred but was not aware of the contents, and he probably assumed it was the weed video being uploaded there and that's what he was answering questions about.
I mean 10 seconds before answering the one about taking money, he said he wasn't paid.

How can you read those texts and not come away thinking they're 100% true.
If you want to be cliche and frame someone, you would be much more to the point than those awkward conversations.
I don't disagree with your main point that he was confused in the presser, but I have no doubt those texts are legit.

The faith healer gets to prove his recruiting worth over the next couple of years.
If he can make something out of the 10 scholarships over the next 2 years he will have at his disposal then we can finally say he's in an elite recruiting class along with Meyer, Saban, and even Butch.

His agent didnt have time to coach him on what to say.(in green room cant just up and leave or do anything fishy all eyes are on you as news broke) Someone dropped the ball. He was super nervous and uncomfortable and answered what he was asked. Nobody realized it until it was too late and proceeded to get him off of the stage.
