When AJ first took over he started and played the whole game against Penn St, then the next week, against weak comp. Sims was given a chance. We'll see plenty of Jake these next two weeks before we see UF. Same with with Eddie Jackson and Tony Brown at CB.

He called a good game, but ESPN's love fest of him is annoying.

The whole "Kiffin cam" they had going was nauseating.

This isn't last years Mountaineer team. This is an 8-9 win team this year. Certainly much better than Tennessee

Don't listen to him. He's a massive troll. Y'all will be good this year.

I realize your coach just got a Gatorade bath for beating UNT, but you aren't really an authority on Big 12 Titles.

wasnt even talking to you there..

i was just replying to the dude saying WVU would compete for the big 12..they will fall behind at least 3 teams, if not more..

I actually think we are going to beat OU this year. we have come close the last 2 seasons and we get them at home. If that happens, then all bets are off as far as the conference champ but if Trickett plays like he did last night, this team will be in contention.

I'd call the offense a mild success

I think a more appropriate term would be "a very minor success".

WVU picked close to last in Big 12 and despite the score on Saturday they are going to finish the season close to last with probably 3 or 4 total wins. They really suck on D.

Maybe without Kiffin you don't score but 31?? WVU defensive line not close in talent level to Bama d line. I was not impressed at all.

Blake Sims looked pretty nervous so maybe that was part of it?

West Virginia is going to win a lot more than 3 or 4 games. This team is night and day better than last years 4 win team.

I am sure you will and the stats will show who the competition is against. The fact that Tricket was not pressured and the receivers running wild will be forgotten by the Bama Fans. ThE part that should worry Bama Fans is WV does not have a running game to take pressure off their QB.

I didn't know last years roster was still active - thanks for the update sister-dater.

By your logic the orange clad inbreeders will suck again this year. See how well thought out your statement is?

Watched the game this afternoon. Though Sims was not "Awesome", he did not play bad. Yea, he missed a few throws but all in all, he played well for his first start.

I don't see Alabama winning the SEC with him playing like he did yesterday but he should settle in after a few games. He is not AJ or Cam but he looks like he can manage the game and let the other guys do their thing

In your secondary, #3 is shite though. He reminded me of some of our corners.

I was impressed with Sims, and believe with more confidence the kid can be a weapon. His escapability is very impressive. He can't miss the wide open throws. I'm hoping Eddie Jackson is ready sooner rather than later at corner. Sylve is not the answer.

There is a reason Sims is playing over Coker. Just give Sims some time. Its not like your schedule will press him.

I bet Coker is just not ready
