The duplicity of the rant manifests itself most glaringly when it comes to TAMU

Right now, though, I can easily see an undefeated Big 12 champ being left out.

Why do we use this conference champ as a homogeneous idea? An undefeated Oklahoma or tu isn't thought of by the media as an "undefeated Big 12 Champ" in the same way Baylor or Kansas State are. They will always be held in a higher regard to an undefeated team from plenty of differente conferences. An undefeated Oklahoma or tu will always make it in to the playoff over and undefeated Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, UCLA, Cal, ASU, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Wake Forest, Duke, Louisville, Clemson, UNC, NC State, Georgia Tech, BC, UVA, Virginia Tech, Pitt, Rutgers, Maryland, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan State, Purdue, Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana, etc.

Typing on my phone, so I am sure I forgot something, but I am all for shitting on the Big 12, but the selection committee isn't staring at "Big 12 Champs" without context.

With all due respect, if the teams were so shitty then how come A&M didn't win a conference title in the 2000's? A&M and their fanbase is incredibly arrogant considering the team has not won a conference title since 1998. I completely understand the momentum you guys are gaining but there are no accomplishments in recent history to hang your hat on.

Shitty leadership from one of the worst coaches to ever receive a paycheck from Texas A&M University.
Probably one of the biggest nightmares in program history.

Let me introduce you to these guys:

No offense to Sherman, actually. I think he might have eventually gotten the job done.

Clean hit on a roll out there are gifs showing it - he was carted off on a stretcher for a shoulder injury. There was an ear hole of him earlier in the game before the hit that took him out that was a cheap shot but he came back in the game.

I'm sure this Cheap shot with about 1:30 left in the game didn't help when this Helmet-to-helmet hit happened with around 30 seconds to play in the game. Definitely a laughable situation...

Hey I completely understand, every school has a coach or a series of coaching hires that sets their program back. However, I have never seen a fanbase react so strongly to a 3rd and 4th place division ranking in the past two seasons. Its quite possible, like most fanbases, that the loud few don't represent the entire population but the arrogance is pretty outstanding.

Nothing dirty about the last hit. Heard's hit was idiotic, I agree, but Bennett's was clean. Yes, it would have been flagged today for helmet-to-helmet, but that rule didn't exist then and was common enough way to go after the QB.

I haven't read through this entire thread, but why the sudden interest in that game? That was a long time ago in a conference far far away.

Haha unlike most LSU fans, I think the kid probably made the correct decision for him. LSU is currently the better program but he fits yall's offensive system much better than ours.

Are you suggesting the possibility that the sample of A&M trolls on the SECr may not be representative of the entire Aggie population ?

You followed up that top 5 finish with national championship hopes and a 4th place finish in the division and an 8-4 regular season with a returning Heisman trophy winner. Again, you are competing with 3 of the better programs in the country within your own division.

I wanted to fight an Aggie in 2002-2003
just couldn't find any.

I was a student at UA then and the Fran
thing had me much more butthurt than
Kick 6 ever could. But, that was in my youth.
I was so mad.

We had no idea Fran had hustled both schools.

Will make it all the sweeter when we finally win it. But you're right, as it stands now, there isn't a harder way to get to the playoffs.

Seriously though Jab, I haven't seen any Ags on here claiming we will win the division this season. Most of us have the team going 8-4. I'm more optimistic. I say 9-3.

How is that arrogant? Also why I never talk shite about LSU football. Hard to since we haven't beaten y'all yet.

Looking forward to that day though.
