81st ranked offense

Not bad considering at one point they were down to their 5th option at QB, who was really a WR

He may be that as well. I just can't imagine Auburn fans being excited about a UA grad running their offense.

Wilkins started 2/3 of their games and against P5 teams threw 10 TDs and 7 INTs (one of those against Texas Tech, which is basically like playing against air) (8 TD / 7 INT if you remove them).

Against ranked teams (3 games) he had a QB Rating of 103.2, threw 3 TD/3 INT, averaged 5.8 YPA and 175 YPG.

Their run game was atrocious the entire season.

I think Lindsey will probably be average to above average, but he's definitely not a sure thing.

So? He's a professional, not some homer fan. One of our best coaches ever played at Georgia and spent nearly a decade as an assistant for Bear Bryant at Alabama. Bama has had assistants that played at Auburn before. And I think his wife went to Auburn.

Why would I care? He's not some retard talking shite on a message board, he's a coach. You realize some people can rise above petty rivalries, right?
Your former director of compliance was an AU grad. I'd be more concerned about that.

I'm just surprised a bama fan can spell a whole sentence without one error.

I've never heard Lindsay's scheme referred to as the air raid.

If you go back a few years to when he was a high school coach he was.

Auburn is completely dependent on the QB panning out at this point

If the new one is good you can win 10 games or more next year. If he doesn't..... well

I think every SEC team is dependent on the QB panning out at this point. When they do not, the league suffers like this year.

Not Bama!

No but seriously, Auburn's offense with a dual threat QB that can throw an accurate middle range ball is deadly. Basically with a Nick Marshall. Anyone else and it's, well, the last two years.

Auburn or any other SEC team doesn't need a Nick Marshall type QB. Just someone who can make the average passes on a consistent basis, something only Ole Miss and Ark showed last year. The problem was the surrounding cast around those two players.

At least this used to be the case.

We'll see.

Lindsey didn't play football at Bama either, not even as a walk-on, he was just a normal student. If that's what you're implying.

Probably why he likes Auburn so much now considering the way Bama football players treat normal students like ATMs and punching bags

At least he didn't come from AA or the unemployment line!
