Obviously LSU doesn't, but that's because your coach sucks at developing QBs.

Sumlin has coached the QB leader in total offense and touchdowns in five of his six seasons as a head coach, and neither player was highly regarded by the recruiting services.

So what. Miles sucks at developing QB's. Sumlin sucks at coaching up a respectable defense. Good thing Miles hired Cam Cameron a high-caliber QB developer.

Harris definitely throws a better ball than Johnny and I don't believe it's even close. I'm not sure if you really think manziel is a great passer right now because he's far from it

Since the start the BCS in 1998, only three BCS conference schools have finished 90th or worse in total defense and won 7 or more games. The 2013 Aggies are the only team in that group to win 9 games and one of only three to win a bowl game. The average number of wins for teams that have met this criteria is 5.2. Nobody in a BCS conference has ever had a winning season with a defense ranked as low or lower than A&M's last year.

This doesn't make any sense. You say 3 teams have won 7 games with a defense ranked 90 or worse, but then you say A&M is the only team with a winning record with a defense ranked 90 or worse.

Florida State? They had a good defense and were nothing remotely similar to your offensive philosophy. FSU was 3rd nationally in total defense a year ago.

Jimbo Fisher is an offensive minded coach.

The 2010 and 2011 Arkansas teams had a lot of talent on defense. Petrino isn't a defensive coach and left them out to dry.

Huh, opposing offenses and NFL scouts must have just not realized it.

Why do you think Oregon is national title-less? aTm will never win a title under Sumlin.

Because Michael Dyer has incredible balance.

I'll give you a hint: A&M was ranked lower than 90th last year in total defense.

Try it again.

Does Sumlin know defense, or is he the offense equivalent of Will Muschamp? Muschamp fields a salty defense, but an offense that looks handicapped. Sumlin's offenses are always impressive, but his defense is lacking.

Head coaches usually have a specialty that they focus on like Saban does with defense or Malzahn with offense. Saban also has a plan for how the offense should look. Does Sumlin have a plan, or will his defense live and die by the coordinator's competence?

So wait, Sumlin had one of the best college QB talents in modern times, and he only won 9 games last year?

You know how stupid you all sound now that you are complaining of us ONLY winning 9 games after you all pulled mad shite out of each other's loose assholes for the entire year plus BEFORE we joined the conference claiming we would ONLY win 4 games (all out of conference if we were lucky)? Really frickin stupid.

Talk shite, that's cool, but admit when you go retard on a topic.

Choctaw... Once Harris found out Allen was committing to A&M... He dropped A&M.. In a classy way I might add.
A&m was going to take who committed first... It was Allen

Sumlin STARTED on Defense in his coaching career. The '12 D was solid and Sr laden with not much behind it. 5 guys off that D are in the NFL... With better talent, Snyder (DC) will be fine.

You realize we won in 2012, right? And that Sumlin was our coach in that game/season, and our defense was pretty frickin salty, one that would we have had that unit this last season, only the LSU game would have been questionable.

Sumlin was left with crap talent in a league full of men along the lines and 230+ running backs from every team in the conference. All Sherman ever talked about was speed, fran even moreso. We had no size these last two years, really, but recruiting will help In that dept.

Remeber that sweet interception on the 1 yard line in 2012 in Bryant Denny to deal the game for A&M? I was there. What down was that pass on? Shitty defense, huh?

Sumlin STARTED on Defense in his coaching career.

Are you referring to his playing career as a linebacker? Because this is what wikipedia showed for his coaching career:

Even if his GA duties were with the defense that is not exactly a ringing endorsement. Would you hire a defensive coordinator who only had experience as a player and GA?
