well i'm glad you admit it

btw...Harris told A&M "frick off" before Allen committed. so it looks like Sumlin settled for Allen

So you're telling us that Kevin Sumlin all but forgot to field a defense and somehow expect us to think that means he's some coaching great?

Not convinced.

Obviously LSU doesn't, but that's because your coach sucks at developing QBs.

Sumlin has coached the QB leader in total offense and touchdowns in five of his six seasons as a head coach, and neither player was highly regarded by the recruiting services.

He should be good. Playing in the shadow of Kyle and Kyler will hurt him though.

Possibly 3 top 10 NFL draft picks.
Manziel
Evans
Matthews

And the best A&M could manage was 3rd in the West?

Sure you have...I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard about UT getting a QB that was the next Peyton Manning.

I'm saying Sumlin was forced to start a bunch of true and redshirt freshmen and first year JUCOs and won more games in such a tight spot than any coach in history.

A&M has had the #3 and #1 D-Line recruiting classes the last two year and has landed 13 four and five star defenders in those two classes. The pain is coming.

We were always pushing for Allen, because he is considered the better prospect by literally everyone.

Yes Edearl - the highly rated draft picks helped A&M win more than 4 games...

Which, based on the OP, is approximately what they would've won without those guys.

Do try to keep up

I mean it's already going to reverse itself. In 2014, Texas A&M got the number one recruit in the country, who happens to be a defensive end. It isn't going to be pretty for offenses in the SEC West any time soon.

You guys have all the ingredients to be excited for next year...except previous results. Until it's real it's only in your head. I think you guys have a great chance at a solid 8 or 9 win season. That's great for you.

Do aTm fans ever get tired of being just one or two years away from greatness? You guys have been just a year or two away for about half a century now. It must be frustrating.

You might want to check the recruiting rankings and see that LSU is still a few steps in front of you. Congrats on your highly-rated QB, though. It's more fun when to shut down the ones that get the most hype.

The difference is when we had 1st round talent the Gators won Rings. Not 3rd place.
If I remember correctly a lot of those guys who won 4 games last season. Went to College Station and won in 2012.
