It's not going to happen, but this place would be a goldmine of entertainment if it did. It would make the Aggie meltdown from this weekend look like child's play. Most of the LSU fans on this site would be ready to just go ahead and forfeit the rest of Les' tenure.

Again, not going to happen...but it would be glorious if it did.

Actually, many would probably not be that disappointed because they know that would be the end of Miles and many feel he has peaked. But that's kind of how the sports cycle and fans go...

The only thing that should bother an LSU fan about this contact, which is facially implausible, is why Sumlin would willingly open himself up to the prospect of embarrassment.
He loses valuable time while this is in the news, creating more uncertainty in A&M recruiting, which is already cratering.
Is this just an emotional reaction to losing Mack last week?
Or does Sumlin know something that makes this NOT a profoundly stupid move?

Does anybody really think chavis is going to leave 1.3 million, a loaded football team next year and go coach defense at that dumpster fire?

If Chavis wasn't interested, the rumors would be dead already. Chavis doesn't leverage jobs. That's why he only made 300K at UT. If he hasn't signed his extension either the extension is trash or he is planning to make a jump.

The only inhabitable part of Texas is between 51st and Ben White in Austin.

All I meant to say is that its possible for other reasons for the Chief to jump ship?

Ive interned in Geismar. Gambled at the LC casino. Visited friends at LSU and Tulane. But theres no way I'd live in Baton Rouge, or the surrounding area. And I feel the same away about College Station.

nah, just Sumlin helping Chavis MAKE LSU pay him more money, lulz

Or LSU MAKING TX A&M lose more defensive recruits. Think about if this is confirmed and he says "no." I guess Sumlin can pick up another dozen or so WRs.

The melt would be incredible

I want it to happen for this reason alone. It would be GLORIOUS to watch. I would pay premium to see it.

I would be. I would lose 10 lbs alone from the melt just from posting.

But what the hell? If you can't put down your fellow SEC members, what is the world coming too?

Houston is largely an oversized BR+NO+more amenities/same ghettos..yet without the barrios.

Take away the Fortune 500 Cos and Woodlands,etc..

What you have is the same stupid humid and mosquito pit.

Now, if we're talking Austin(where even the ATM grads escape Bryan/CS's frumpy town to go live with the Horns), that's another story. Horseshoe Bay, Lake Tyler, Lake Conroe,etc..nice.

You can have North Mexico(San Antonio), and Dallas high plains freezing cold winters of sparse greenery/midget Mesquite tree landscape..keep it.
