Just the fact that you lost a coach to A&M would be enough to enrage the Tigers.

At this stage and age of his career, why Chief would want to teach Tejas soft 7-on-7 campers how to smashmouth D is beyond me?
It is the chore for a younger man imho. Boom,etc..was needed. TAM's D and the lost momentum since Wrecking Crew days long ago..gonna take a tenure to teach and infirm into the culture.
It's a problem in that state from the bottom-up and from the top-down. Patterson and Strong can only do so much, it's gonna require the Texas HS coaches too.

Roger, this may be hard for a gadget school fan to understand, but LSU has always been a Defensive stalwart program, back to the Chinese Bandits and before(Fightin Tigers..Civil War..Andrew Jackson sh!t)..
