Jalen will get better. Not putting all of it on Kiffen. But Jalens development as a qb went backwards as the season when on. Check out the first few games. Seemed to be able to throw the ball well.
I know some of you are going to say "Look what Kiffen did with Simms and Coker". What did he do? Turn two average senior QB's into average senior QB's.
I think Jalen will be fine.

Sims was a career backup utility player, and UA set offensive records with him, won the SEC, and in the playoffs.
Coker was a career backup transfer, and UA won the SEC and a national title.
Really hard to question the ability of Kiffin's QB coaching. The good news is that Sarkisian, not Kiffin, was the QB coach of those awesome USC teams. He will be good for the QBs.
No. Hurts just was just very inconsistent this year at the forward pass. It wasn't Kiffin's fault.

Seems clear to me Hurts at QB isn't the future for Bama. No way he is a 3 or 4 year starter.
This is stupid.

he has the things you can't coach
cool under pressure
doesn't get rattled
can take the big hit and get up and play like it was nothing
mechanics can be worked on and the play book can be shaped to give him the best chance to get the ball in the air - again for the first off season since 2012 we know who our QB is going to be and we can work on our offense accordingly

Secondary was above average this year... not great. Took a team with a QB like Clemson to truly exploit it. Nothing new here... just a comment. Seems clear to me Hurts at QB isn't the future for Bama. No way he is a 3 or 4 year starter.
Best defense in all of college football. Still a great year.
Jalen Hurts sucks. People kept looking at rushing yards, and stats which were 50% passes at or behind the line of scrimmage. He hasnt gone backwards. He just finally faced a legit defense in the playoffs. thats the only thing that lost this game for Bama. The defense was knocking heads off until the 29th straight 3 and out.

I said on TD prior to LSU-Bama game that the key to beating Bama was shutting down and specifically containing Jalen Hurts. He cant beat you from the pocket. We achieved that objective. Problem was we didn't score a single point... Clemson obviously was able to do that.
