Seattle would not pass up locker if they get a shot at him.

Washington coaching staff said "they were looking for the next Sam Bradford or next Donovan McNabb in the draft."

Seems like they are saying they would go after Cam Newton or Andrew Luck.

Newton seems to have more raw ability and a bigger upside than Locker. Also if Newton doesn't pan out at QB he could contribute at WR or TE very easily.

at TE yes at WR I disagree.

There are alot of teams desperate for a QB.

I believe he'd have better luck pursuing his baseball career, if that answers your question.

Out of all draft eligible QBs, he would only be in the top 5 in Running Ability.

Of course he'll get picked in the 1st, but he's being drafted on athletic ability/potential more than JPP for the Giants last draft...

What? He will get NFL first round money. I do not see any possible way that the Seattle Seahawks could let this guy slide by in the first round.

They will give him time to develop, as a Washington kid and University of Washington student he is popular and will help them sell tickets.

Oh he'll get drafted 1st round, but at this point, his talent is more tailored to baseball than football. You are basically starting with a blank slate when you draft him, it's gonna take a hell of a coaching job to turn him into a NFL QB. It's a way bigger risk than reward...

he has good arm strength and can fit the ball into tight spaces.

Good athletic ability, that's about the only respect I can give Locker at this point in time.

He is basically untouched in almost every other aspect of being a QB, which is a big reason he is a first rounder. A coach can basically mold him into a QB how he wants...

Jake Locker will be very lucky if he makes it in the first round, classic examples of why you should never turn down guaranteed first round money.

Greg McElroy had better stats than Jake Locker this year. Just saying.

Jake Locker hands down..... Newton will be done in by 2014.....Flopzilla!!! He will have a bunch of money! Cecil will drop from being a rev!! He won't need to do that (pretend) anymore !! Cam Will run that pie-hole to the wrong person, after being spoiled all his life with preferential treatment---he will smile about something he got over on someone and bam---Just my .02 cents

Any team who takes Locker over Newton is just stupid.

Been saying for a couple of years that Locker is a dud. How the so called "experts" fell for his hype is astounding.

But you can't toss them aside either, it's hard to say he lived up to his expectations, not just this year, but even out of HS. It's also scary looking at his Scout profile out of HS, his positives and negatives have pretty much stayed the same. They pegged him to a T...
