Last year Johnathan Mincy won the Holland Award by the largest margin since its inception.

I think he might have earned himself a permanent spot on the trophy. The Holland-Mincy award has a nice ring to it.

I agree.....petition to rename it the Capps-Holland Courage Award, given to the shitiest player on the field who is brave enough to keep playing.

But this year, I can't really think of anybody....

same.

If I had to pick it'd probably be any one of our WR. We've got the depth up to where if someone is a liability they're not going to play. We won't be hamstrung by Brey Cook or Alan Turner anymore, or Brandon Allen for that matter.

On Defense, our weak point is probably Coley or Liddell because of lack of experience but they both looked really good in the spots they were on the field last year. Our secondary is going to surprise the hell out of people.

Feels good knowing our weaknesses really aren't that bad and that we've got options at every position if injuries take a toll.

Literally thought the same thing

Maybe the Holland Award can be the worst LB and the Mincy Award the worst DB?

It was always so uplifting to see them trade Cobbs regular helmet for his football helmet.

If any Ole Miss fan names a player other than Justin Bell, they should be excommunicated from the state of Mississippi.

Hopefully we won't see much of him with Cowart Lawson Kennion ect..

Probably our TE OJ. Our offense last year wasn't really designed to feature a TE, and Blake tended to focus solely on Amari, but OJ has got to make plays when they count and he didn't do it last year, IMO.

It's funny, Jack Holland was actually the one who stopped Aaron Murray before crossing the goal line late in the 4th.

I am pretty sure it was a DB who stopped Murray with a brutal face mask.

We don't know if he's good or not yet. He's looked good in workouts but he also hasn't played a down yet.

Bell has played a lot at RG and has just been horrible. Houston Nutt really wanted Aaron Morris (our LG) so he offered Bell, his high school teammate, and ever since then it's been five years of having the fat friend around that just won't take a hint and leave.

PK - Taylor Bertolet

The reason I didn't pile onto Devante Harris is very simple.

Dustin Harris was complete shite from 2009-2011.

In the 2012 season he really stepped up as a senior and made key plays critical to that season:

-Punt return against SC State
-Forced fumble on TJ Yeldon vs. Alabama
-Interception during the Cotton Bowl after Manziel's endzone pick

He also finally became a sure tackler that season.
