A guy who is a liability on most every snap, most teams have one starter like this, who is your team's this year?

Alabama's would definitely be a member of our secondary, take your pick really, but I'll go with Eddie Jackson.

Not sure who it'll be this year but DJ Welter had a deathgrip on that award from 2012-2014

I know you want to blame shitty defensive production on him instead of Chief's mental lapses, but Welter was a solid contributor for the Tigers.

In 2013, Welter had 80 total tackles, 4.0 TFL, and 2.0 sacks in 13 games, which are pretty solid numbers for an SEC linebacker.

Secondary is probably the easiest position to spot and exploit weaknesses.

That being said, I'd pick CB De'Vante Harris. He can cover pretty well, but he isn't very physical. Has problems against stronger WRs. He is a Senior this year, so he needs to step up and lead by example.

It's funny, Jack Holland was actually the one who stopped Aaron Murray before crossing the goal line late in the 4th. Refs disagreed, making it necessary for Malzahn to vivisect a virgin goat on the 50 yard line to summon Azagoth from the 12th plane of torment just so we could win that game.

I thought that would have been a fitting redemption story for Holland if the refs had ruled in his favor.

Almost every year I can easily name one player, having a tough time for this team.

Last year, it would've without a doubt been John Henson our kicker.....

But this year, I can't really think of anybody....

Really tough to say not knowing how the new starters will look but if I had to pick a returning guy it would be Lamar Louis - not sure if he'll even start again but he's the definition of average at best.

Stats hardly tell the story here, he was late getting to the ball carrier COUNTLESS times. Only 25 of those tackles were solo. By comparison, Minter the previous year had 55 solo tackles.

Minter was an all-SEC LB and a second round pick.

I'm not saying Welter was a stud, I'm just saying he was more than serviceable.

The worst player on LSU's 2014 team was Anthony Jennings, bar none.

The only QB in the SEC with a lower passer rating than Anthony Jennings was Jeff Driskel.

With Welter as MLB, we gave up 268 rushing to Wisconsin, 302 to Miss St, 172 to New Mexico St, and 298 to Auburn....

With Beckwith as MLB, we gave up 123 to Florida, 71 to Kentucky, 137 to Ole Miss, 106 to Alabama, 95 to Arkansas, and 84 to aTm.
