Nah, we are still celebrating and rubbing it in at the same time.

I confess! I was a non-believer! He finally turned me at Mich State...

He's talking about that one pass to #13 that was thrown too hard. And maybe the one to #3 at the sideline that was too far out of bounds. Both would have been forsts downs. The one to #3 was a tough pass to make though.
He managed to hit Howard when he was open, which a lot of QBs will miss because they get too excited, and the one to Stewart and that's really all that matters.

Yeah the reason his completion % is so high is because he won't throw the ball away. I'd rather he have a 70% completion rate and not take ad many sacks for negative plays.
Doesn't matter now. We won, he gone, that's, that.

You mean Stewart and Ridley? Stewart dropped that pass (a rarity for him)

A 3000 yd passing season over 15 games in modern college football isn't that great. Love the kid but I'm ready to see what happens next year. Roll Tide to Jake though. He did it.

Listen, nobody is saying he's the next Joe Montana. But he was about as good as you can get in the playoffs. Completed nearly 80% of his passes in those two games for over 600 yards, 4 TD's and no picks. He missed a couple of open guys against Clemson but he also had some beautiful throws and a drop on 3rd and 11 that should have been a first down. 16/25 for 335 and 2 scores? I'll take that every day of the week and twice on Sundays. And the clutch third down run to essentially seal the win? Ice water.
Don't misunderstand me. While I found him underwhelming compared to the praise he as getting before -- and I'm actually referring to the praise from the FSU staff, not the praise from from Bama fans because it's perfectly normal for a fanbase to have high hopes for their new QB -- I'm certainly not one of the "mockers and bashers" of the thread title. I'm just saying he can play brilliantly one game and put out a so-so performance the next. He's got the tools (his footwork needs some coaching, though) to be a great QB. I just think he needs to learn to do it more consistently.
He could probably stand to bulk up a little too. He's not a running QB, so a little bulk will do more good than harm.

Just sign the validation ticket and stop delaying us.

Eesh. Really? It must be the height, because he doesn't look particularly athletic. Of course, I've never seen him without his shirt (unless you count that one time, but it was just a case of both of us misunderstanding the nature of the party.) Seriously, though, he doesn't look like he would weight 240. Guess that's why the carnival demoted me from the Guess Your Weight and Age attraction and now I have to groom the bearded lady after every show. Sigh.

My problem with Coker is that he's badly inconsistent.
For a guy who hasn't had much live action since 2010, yeah he was pretty bad.

I still think he was better than Sims.
He was. Sims had the benefit of the best WR in college football.

Sigh. I didn't say he was "bad". Just inconsistent. And the fact that you're pointing out a reason for that situation doesn't undermine my point. It reaffirms it.

He is not very good. Any qb can play with the talent Bama has and win.

How many open men has he missed on the down field passes.?
