Including some Bama fans...all he did was go 14-0 as a starter, throw for 3,100 yards while completing 66% of his passes for 21 TD's against 8 picks not to mention 2 rushing TD's. Led his team to the SEC and national titles and threw for over 600 yards, 4 TD and no picks in the playoffs.

Major props to the kid, and for Kiffin doing an amazing job for the second year in a row with throw away QB's that nobody thought would be good.

Guess you already forgetting Bama fans saying he was as good as Jameis when he transferred...

Why are bama fans still trying to validate themselves? Haven't they won like 45236 championships?

Plus pick up a critical 1st down late in the game Monday night rushing for 3 yards on 3rd and 2 in the red zone. Clutch, IMO.

We don't need validation. We already know what everyone knows. This is just pointing it out, good old celebrating and bragging and rubbing it in. Just like fans do.

Guy was as clutch as they come. Will go down as one of my favorite Bama QB's ever.

Coker has more championship rings than Jameis Winston and less rape allegations.

But Jay Barker went undefeated one season too, though. I like Jay -- he's scrappy and stuff -- but going undefeated isn't as shiny a badge as one might think.

Jay Barker was a Heisman finalist and is one of Bama's all time greatest QB's. I put him up there with Namath, Stabler, and McCarron

This is really an accomplishment by Saban, Kiffin, and the talent around him. The amount of talent Bama assembles allows for poor quarterbacks (who they make look good see ex. your stats) to win titles. Coker is still a average college quarterback he just played on the best team with the best coaches. Not many teams can win a title with Jake Coker at QB.

It's pretty shiny, especially when it comes with a natty ring. The difference between Coker and Barker is that Coker actually had very good stats. He didn't just win games by handing the ball off and throwing it 8 times a game like Barker. He put up nice stats and absolutely killed it in the playoffs.
